Salsa & Beer reviews
36This place not only has the best Mexican food in LA, their prices are fantastic. As I read through the reviews, I see that every negative review has nothing to do with food, and everything to do with wait times and service. This place is busy as hell.always packed for a reason. You're just gonna have issues if you show up with a large group.
The wait to be seated was longer than usual, but the food was brought MUCH quicker than anticipated.
This was my first time at Salsa & Beer and the food and drinks were delicious with great service even with a long wait for a table. I will definitely be back!
Cool, happening spot in the San Fernando valley. Food is very good, they have a patio where you can sit in without waiting or you can sit inside but you have to wait and it seems like it gets pretty busy. The only problem about sitting outside was the flies. Other than that, its a pretty chill place. Shrimp fajitas are excellent.
Had been there before the Pandemic and food was great. This time the food was very disappointing. The hard shell taco was one of the worst ever. Very soggy and not Crispy. The food was bland. When we paid the bill we were charged for using a credit card and not told ahead. Will not be returning.
Food was good at a reasonable price. General Manager Juan was nice to accommodate us really recommend this place
Good luck parking. This area is such a hot zone for vehicular chaos to the point where police have to patrol this area more. And yet we all still come. The best value, legit Mexican food, and great service. The wait is long, but they can text your number when your table is ready.
This place is incredible, best Mexican food in town and it’s cheaper than Taco Bell. My only complaint about this place is that they don’t do reservations. This place can get really packed at night and parking becomes near impossible.
I love the food and excellent price, yes is a long wait but is worth it. Also great service and 5 start to management and waiters.
The most fresh and authentic Mexican food I have tried since I have been in Mexico. Some of the best and amazing prices for huge portions. Always extremely busy and dont take reservations so be prepared to wait
Seriously this place is the best. The food and the staff could not be better and the prices are unbeatable. Would come back Everytime I make it to SoCal
Food and drinks are always amazing. The prices on this place is so reasonable they seriously cant beat. The only thing I do have to complain about is the parking. Its really hard to find. I suggest to uber it to this place.
The food is amazing but the staff in the front are rude, like if they can't handle the rush then why work there? Always giving attitude to me and my family.
Really nice place for the price you pay. The portions are really big and the happy hour is amazing! I had the Torta and it came with beans and rice. The Torta itself was huge and I could only eat half (I'm usually not one to leave anything on my plate) My favorite part about this place is that they give you chips and spicy refried beans instead of chips and salsa. The beans are still warm and absolutely delicious. I first came to this place on a Tuesday afternoon and it was packed so prepare to wait for a table if you come during peak hours.
Omg, the hardshell tacos are amazing. The rice and refried beans are very flavorful as well. Be sure to have their strawberry margarita.
Great food. But better to go weekdays (monday to thursday). It gets really busy on the weekends, long waiting lines and bad parking situation.
Salsa and beer is always a good time; if you can get a seat. They are always usually packed, ina good way.
It is a nice cool place to bring family and friends, the food is good, and super! Huge portions.
The only thing that they have to work on is the ambiance, i'm not picky but, you can enjoy your foof and listening the sports on the T. V.sets, the volume is to high, and if you request them to lower the volume, the floor manager or whatever is on charge, they don't care.
Sadly, because ambiental music (mexican, etc) should be better than the sound from the t.v. Sets.
Very yummy and affordable CHILE RELLENOS. $5.99.rice and beans.yum! Salsa bar is great! Unlimited chips! Worth the wait
