Salton City Park reviews
7There are lot's of rocks & roots pop out of nowhere which you only notice when you are out there running and trip over them. The good thing is that it's mostly lonely and nobody will watch you fall & laugh at you.
Clean and stocked bathrooms always and friendly groundkeepers. Never seen it messy and even the portopottys are well maintained. Shaded area provides outlets and probably 10 tables total.a motionsensor light in shaded area will turn off if ur not moving around allowing parents to relax while watching the kids play. Basketball courts in great condition with separate tables at each court too. A giant shade tree with tables undernesth it and a baseball diamond equipped with bleachers available upon request for events. Only one entrance to the park allows for safe child play. Basketball courts dont turn off lights till 11pm too. The bathrooms also have doors that lock and an outlet in each bathroom as well as mounted hooks for bags i suppose or purses to hang up.havent seen any mess or any full trashes there at all ever. Swings. Playground. And i think i saw the groundkeep open a room and allow a family to use the microwave right before he handes my friend and me 2 very cold water bottles. Only ran into 1 homeless man there only once ever. And he was sleeping far from playground:) i would have given it 5 stars but i think it should have water fountains. I think it may have one but im. Not sure also if it was a water park that would be ideal.
What park all I see is desert no shade no swings nothing it's a joke it was better when they had the swimming pool at least then they had tables and BBQ Pits
Good place to run around for kids. But needs more shaded areas for adults.
