Best tacos ever! I went to this place not knowing much about it. The vibe inside is a bit loud and eclectic. Part rock, part hip hop, and covered in latin roots art. The place is a pay first, eat later joint, but that seems to be the most efficient way of handling the potentially massive volume of people. When I got there, the line was short, but it quickly grew out the door.

The tacos, though! Wow. I had fish tacos and adobados. The fish tacos were crispy on the outside and flaky inside. The adobados, though. Holy geeze. I swear they were the best I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of tacos. They were good enough that I got back in that longer line, just to get another pair. I would say I was full after 3, but I just couldn't stop. I wish I lived closer. I'd be there every week.

Overall it was an ok place to eat it is definitely a bit over priced for quantity of food you get but at least its not bad food, just not the best. Also not the best customer service, the waiters seem to be super busy & ignore you when there really wasn't much people dinning.

Probably wouldn't go back.

I don't know about you, but carne asada burritos are not filled with load of yellow American cheese. My 15 year old son and I only ate about half a burrito when we decided we cóuld not eat it any more. The meat was chewy, but the overload of yellow American cheese took over the taste of the burrito. We order two Cali burritos and two Jamaica waters. Total bill $30.27 Burritos cost $10.00 each drinks $4.00 each. It could been the time we went it was Sunday around 6pm. The Jamaica water was that water with color. My friends order carne asada tacos those where good, and berria tacos good, but adobada not good. Over all service was quick food taste not good. If we might go again stick with small carne tacos at $4.50 each. The places inside looks great, music classic Mexican music was great. If you are looking for a place to drink alcohol and be served Mexican bar food it's a good place to check it out. We didn't order any alcohol drinks so I don't really know how good they are. I really hope they would improve the quality of food.

Maybe a bit over hyped. Quality seems low for what people made me expect, half the taco shells we're stale. They were really busy, so waiting 35 minutes for 6 tacos could be understandable, but they were pretty much cold on arrival. If these were two dollar tacos maybe I'd give it a 3 Star Rating.

It's good, well priced, cool decorations, all in all a solid place. Carne's asada fries were made with actually good seasoned fries and had like 3 different kinds of cheese. They were smothered in toppings. The al pastor tacos were good, anywhere else they'd be great. Unfortunately this is San Diego. There's no parking lot but even at 7 on a Saturday I didn't have trouble parking. If it's close to you or you think it looks interesting give it a try.

So good! The elote veggie dog and elote fries are amazing. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. A must stop if you are around and want a taste of LA style street food.

Great food, friendly staff, very cool environment! We loved the fish tacos and El Pastore tacos! You MUST try their corn, it is delicious!

Food is delicious! Asada tacos are the best with the pastor. Food is pricey but tacos are big and loading with everything, so if your picky don't recommend but if you like tacos with all kinds of topping they are really good. I had the Agua de pina and it was so good with a chamoy rim. Definitely would go again to try the other meats. Also the atmosphere and decor is amazing.

The vampiro michelada is to die for, brings me back to the micheladas from mexico city. The giant quesadillas are legit giant. So many tacos to choose from but the carne asada is probably my favorite. The red salsa here is amazing. Brings out of towners here for a cultural experience as this part of town has authentic mexican american food, cafes, and art.
