They only gave me 2 pieces of lamb with the order of lamb curry. For $22 i was expecting a little more then 2. No utensils or napkins to eat. Unsat.

The food is awesome, and there Hawaiian pizza is to die for.
Its a place with food for everyone and its all done to the same standard. Its nice to find a place with more than one style of food and it all be top notch.

We got the Korma sauce curry pizza which was flavorfully yummy! Minus one star because of the long wait time for the food (which we expected from previous yelp reviews), long wait on the phone. They don't have the customizable curry pizzas anymore. The large pizza costed $22 with pre-determined toppings (cilantro, chicken, onion). It was on the more expensive side, but the sauce was creamy and good!

Extremely disappointed. Tried going to this place on 2 different nights for dinner. They will not take your calls. It's common courtesy to at least pickup the phone and say we are closed. We tried calling them to place a to-go order at 8.15 pm because they are listed to be open until 9 pm. Irresponsible and unreliable to be included in your trip itinerary.

DO NOT GO HERE. Went there with my family for a 4-top. Spent 15 minutes waiting for a table when there were several available. Took 20 minutes to take our order. Then we waited another 45 and when we asked how long our order would be she said it would be right out. 10 minutes later she told us they misplaced our order.

The place is not run like any restaurant I’ve ever been in. A total mess, inefficient and incompetent.

Ruined our first night in town (a Monday?) will never go back here, ever.

My expectations were low but the food was amazing (at least the Indian cuisine) and great service. We received the food really fast and their mango lassi was amazing

Amazing! Better than most San Diego Indian restaurants. Definitely going back to try other menu items there. A+

Food was decent. The Indian food sauces were clearly watered down. No one re filled our water the entire meal. The tables and menus were extremely dirty.

Food tasted excellent. Prices good but not great. I am Indian and am from Toronto so I have high standards for cheap Indian food.

Flavorful and authentic! Cozy little spot if you’re dining in. We tried the vegetable samosas, aloo gobi (vegan), chicken curry & the pizza w/ curry sauce. All were delicious and the pizza combo was a real treat! The menu notes which items can be made mild, medium & spicy. The mild is “really a mild” so not to worry if one can’t handle the spice. Service is helpful and pleasant, but it seems like they are a little short-handed on staff.but it doesn’t affect the amazing flavors of the food

Amazing food. They were packed and the waitresses had been going non stop. We got fantastic food and service. The aloo sag, onion naan and medium pizza were enough for the three of us. Chai tea was strong and piping hot and delicious. Will return!

Went here for dinner last night. Staff was friendly. Food was delicious.

I ordered the chicken curry, garlic and onion naan bread, and a mango juice. I would love to eat the naan bread every day for snack. The chicken curry is true comfort food for me, tasted almost exactly like my mom used to make. I got it mild this time and it had virtually no spiciness to it, which was perfect. Next time (and there will be a next time) I'll probably get it medium. The curry also came with rice which was great with the curry and even just by itself. Mango juice actually tasted like mango. Overall, I had a great experience and will be going back.

I don't know why I haven't been here before. My goodness, the food is delicious! Plenty of menu choices and vegetarian choices as well. A decent beer selection, but fair warning- A LOT of people like this smaller restaurant. So, you may be in for a bit of wait from time to time. Also, they do carry-out and you can order online to pick up.

Great Place when I'm in this area. When I'm around Landers or Johnson Valley I eat at Hero's same owners! I also give them 5 stars plus I buy my gas there (Valero)

Decent Indian food and pizza. Samosas were good. Saag paneer was a bit too creamy for my taste and chana masala sauce a bit dry. Didn't try the curry pizzas but those would be worth a try.

This place is surprisingly wonderful for an Indian restaurant in the middle of a desert who also apparently serves pizza. Food was delicious! We had the korma saag paneer and brihani. Garlic naan was also great. Waitress was friendly. Service was a bit slow but it’s ok. Why be in a hurry when driving through the desert? Highly recommend!

Don't be turned off by the appearance. This place totally just looks like a liquor store, and I'm pretty sure it shares a kitchen with a delivery pizza place. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. I'm not even a huge indian food guy but the curry is to die for. I've tried three so far and loved all of them. Obviously the butter chicken and naan bread is great too. I know I will definitely be coming back here, and I'm so glad I decided to try it on a whim.

Typically super good. This last visit not so good. Some of the lamb was rubbery. And the chicken rice dish wss muddying the raisins and cashews. Guess even Sam's can have a bad day.

My first experience with Indian food. Had the chicken vindaloo medium and it was delicious. Cute place. Flavorful food.

Deceptively hidden but the best Indian food I have had outside of India! Wonderful waitress, fun and just adds to total experience!
