Sandwiches are decent, just stay away from the wraps. Paid extra and couldn't even pick it up without it breaking everywhere. Yes, it did taste like it looked

Minus a star! Ordered thru the app with a 30min wait. Walked in.absolute chaos! (Note - There are no visible identifiable markers of any line formations, just ppl everywhere)
Received my order @ the service counter & was told, "Next time, wait in line! "
"Wait. What line, there are no lines? ! "

I'd think a Pre-paid and Pre-ordered customer should be the utmost least of your worries/problems.guess not.plz remedy your structure of chaos before arguing with your customer!

Best steak sandwich I've ever had, same with the lemon bars. Tried a muffalta sandwich too and it was so good! They have everything and I look forward to trying it all.
Update: I've tried many more sandwiches since my last review and every single one of them was the best sandwich of its type. The New Yorker hot pastrami is my favorite hot sandwich and my favorite cold sandwich is the muffalata. I also loved the meatball sandwich. My favorite bread is the crusty roll.
They have outdoor seating with a security guard. There's a bathroom. They have indoor seating. You can buy herbs and spices, cheese, olives, oil, balsamic vinegar, sauces, etc. They have nice merchandise/gifts and a big wine selection. The soda machine has my favorite flavor.orange vanilla Coke. There are tons of different drinks and chips. There are so many desserts in the freezers and they have ice cream. They have EVERYTHING.

Great place for sandwiches, everything is fresh and taste amazing. They also have a lot of prepackaged meals to warm up at home. Highly recommend.

We used the app to order. We got there early and my hubs went in and check everything out. He got some cheese while he waited for the sandwiches.
We got 5 sandwiches.
Not a bad price for what we got.
I got the 10 inch pastrami sandwich. I was not a fan. I didn't expect smoked anything? On a pastrami sandwich?
Maybe I have spent to much time in Los Angeles deli's. Just not that great.
Every one else loved theirs.
We recommend this place, if you like smoked meat.

It has been a few years since I've been here, and I feel like they did quiet a good job with the upgrade and provided more rooms to walk through. We came here for their sandwiches and it did not disappoint. We also got their pasta salad and that was delicious! Great service and great food. They also have an outside area for eating. Definitely recommend this place for sandwiches!

Hands down the absolute best sandwiches in town and it's not even close. I have been eating here for many years and I have never walked out dissatisfied. Sandwiches are ALWAYS on point. I feel like it's a hidden gem that not many locals even know about. If you don't know, then go find out and treat your tastebuds.

By far and away the best Italian deli in all of the Central Valley. From the sandwiches to the prepared food you can get to go to make at home you can’t go wrong! Their deli counter has the best Italian meats and cheeses you could hope for. While your there do your self a favor and check out the desserts too!

Fabulous food, friendly service. Still feels like the warm and friendly deli we came to as teenagers, I had the New York Pastrami - delish

Sam's is a Fresno institution and never disappoints. Today's sandwich was a Muffaletta on crunchy sourdough. I know that's not the traditional bread for this sandwich, but it's pretty great. Salty and delicious. Broccoli salad on the side and a cannoli to finish because why not indulge? I haven't been here in quite some time, but I'm plan to change that trend.

Best Italian Deli! Love "The New Yorker"! And all things in there! Is my old stomping grounds and been going since they opened! Highly reccomend! You won't be dissapointed there! Get your #as soon as you walk in so the wait is shorter.

Some times it takes a little while to get your order, that's because there busy & there the best deli in fresno/clovis area. The Italian market is awesome. Must go!

Sam's always has THE BEST sandwiches in Fresno. The selection of unique sodas is fun. The choices of Italian pastries completes the deal.
Had the Chicago style steak today. It's adds a little "heat" to the already delicious steak sandwich. Really well done!

To me, this is the second best deli only because they don't have corned beef. I love my corned beef sandwiches and they have sourdough bread.
