Worked with Chuck and everything was smooth. Very helpful and not overbearing like many dealerships can be. Finance was great as well. Took 10 minutes to sign and they didn’t even bother trying to upsell additional coverages as I mentioned I was not interested briefly only once before the signing. I really appreciated that and it made the whole process very pleasant. Also had a small issue with the car that was not their fault just after purchase and the manager took care of it within an hour after I showed up. I wish all car dealerships could work this well!

I was charged way too much money for services that did not fix the problems I came in with. I went to another mechanic who took the time to take me under the car and actually explain what was going on. Don’t waste your time here, goto a local mechanic. They’ll be way more honest and way cheaper.

I had a great experience with this dealership! It was a very easy car purchase in all ways. We went to several dealerships in our car search. This dealership was the best! They were not pushy and very friendly all along the sale. Our salesman was Alfonso and he couldn't have been better.

My go to advisor is Jose Reyes. He’s always attentive with everyone who steps foot in service whether he is helping you out or in the lobby. Great attitude should have more advisors like him.

Islam Enin was our service advisor and he was amazing! He communicated with us regularly and always took time to respond to my messages and calls. We have had many service advisors over the past at CDJR and they have all been terrible providing us with no communication which led to lots of frustration while they had our car in the lot for months. Islam has gone above and beyond to ensure we know exactly what is going on with our Promaster! I will definitely be requesting him in the future and highly applaud his professionalism.

A very bad experience. I have a crush on a used car for sale. I called to inquire if it was still for sale and said I would go see the car. They requested an appointment, but I made an appointment and drove for over an hour, only to be informed that the car I had booked had already been sold! A very responsible dealer! Can't you keep it until the appointment time when you have already made an appointment? Or did you sell and notify me of this reservation?

I purchased a car from this dealer on July 10,2023. However, I want to share a cautionary note for those considering this dealer with pre-approved financing. Unfortunately, my lien holder still hasn't received the vehicle's title, raising concerns about the process. While I understand paperwork can take time to process, I'm seeking clarity on when the dealer actually submitted the necessary documents to the DMV. When I've made inquiries via phone, my information is taken, but there's been no follow-up from their end. Even attempts to connect me with the finance office have yielded empty promises of callbacks with updates.

What adds to my frustration is that I recently purchased a vehicle from Kearny Mesa Subaru in January 2023, and their process of delivering the title to my lien holder was considerably smoother. This experience has left me with doubts about returning to this dealer in the future. It appears their main focus was upselling a maintenance package to maximize their profits. I find it perplexing that a dealer specializing in Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles would offer a $3-4k maintenance package for a different make. During our interaction, the salesman persisted in trying to sell me the package even after I declined, attempting to negotiate for nearly 10 minutes.

While their customer service shines when you're physically present at the store, the moment you step out, your importance seems to diminish significantly.

In response to your reply, you have my phone number and promised to call me back. It’s been two weeks and still haven’t received the follow up phone call.

Right from the moment I stepped into the showroom, the staff at San Diego Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram went above and beyond to ensure the highest level of customer service. I had the pleasure to work with Dany Shevchenko, he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me find the perfect vehicle that met both my needs and budget. He patiently answered all my questions and made sure that he worked with according to my budget. Once the sell was closed, Dany took the time to do a walk through with instructions and functionality of my new Jeep Wrangler.

Buying my Durango was fine. Getting the speedometer lens that had a scratch during delivery has not been acceptable. Two months after taking my new Durango they called me to replace the lens. They said I have to leave it at the dealer for a minimum three days. Unfortunately without a loaner car I can’t give up my vehicle for three days. They said it would only take a couple hours to do but it has to sit in line at the dealer. Still waiting for them to tell me a day I can bring it and stay for a few hours while they replace it.

This review is primarily for the service department at SDCDJR. I am deeply disappointed in the customer service I have received from SDCDJR. I purchased a $64k brand new Grand Cherokee 4XE on 03/07/2023. Since that date, I have made an embarrassing amount of attempts to have my vehicle properly fixed. Within one week of buying the Jeep, a loud rattle noise started from the right rear speaker. I bought an expensive vehicle with premium sound because I enjoy quality sound in my vehicles. I have been to the service department 5 times since March 2023. There is a disconnect in communication between the service advisors, the service techs, and the service manager and director. Everyone I spoke to, would have a different story. I was told to come in one time to repair the speaker, waited 2 hours, there is no part available. Another day I waited 8 hours at the dealer for them to attempt repair the speaker. I was told it was all fixed. I get out to my Jeep with excitement and find out myself that it was not fixed. The tech said they will need to order a part, the service advisor didn’t know the plan when I asked. One person said it’s a blown tweeter, another person said it’s a faulty door panel. He told me they will call me, they never called. Another time I was there, I was asked to fill out a survey and asked to give all high ratings immediately as soon as I handed my keys to drop the Jeep off. I also have 3 active safety recalls I’m waiting to repair. Jeep Wave does not exist at this dealership, they will tell you they do not have any loaners/rental cars. The sales and finance department is also shady. I had agreed upon a deal with $1,700 down and 12k miles per year lease. When I go to sign I see $3k down and 10k miles. I have to ask to have this corrected. The finance person draws lines through them and writes in the new numbers. A month goes by and my trade has not been paid off so I’m making two car payments (one of which on a car I haven’t owned for a month). After 2 weeks of finance not returning my calls, I received a call asking me to come back to finance to resign paperwork because Chrysler Capital rejected the shady paperwork and wanted it all re-typed. When you call and leave messages, no one returns your calls. I also later received a letter from CA DMV asking me to verify information as it was incorrect in their paperwork to DMV. You need to take your time here and read every single line of the paperwork you are signing. I would like to add that in all of my communications with SDCDJR I have been more than understanding and polite, yet I feel like I let this dealership walk all over me. You will 100% absolutely get the run around here. Do not trust your vehicle for accurate service here. It is now 08/12/2023 and my vehicle is still not fixed. I have lost all faith in SDCDJR and they have forever lost me as a customer. I would like to add that I have purchased two vehicles from them and I traded two vehicles to them since 2019. I do not want a generic reply to this stating “We regret to hear of your review, please call us so we can make it better! ” SDCDJR should review at all the emails I have exchanged with service director Todd Hatch for more details and SDCDJR can contact me if they have an actual legitimate solution to fix my brand new vehicle. Also, if you notice, this dealership has 4.0 stars on Google and 3.0 stars on Yelp. On yelp, you can’t have your reviews easily removed like you can on Google. Further, the sales department is half-way decent (not fully decent or they wouldn’t have tried to trick me with a higher down payment and lower mileage on my lease than was agreed upon). They will answer the phone immediately in sales, they will call you back promptly in sales, etc. In service and in finance, there is a complete blackout in communication.

For the last 4 months I have been trying to get answers regarding the service contract I purchased with my Ram Laramie back in October 2020. When I was talked in to buying the contract, it was for a total of 8 oil changes for the 4 year or 40,000 mile period, including 10k, 20k, 30k and 40k service plus all filters. At a purchase price of $1555.00. Originally I was not going to purchase the package, however the sales associate broke down the costs and it did provide a bit of savings. Ultimately we decided it was worth it to purchase. Per the terms of the service agreement, I proceeded to have the oil changed every 6 months. In April of 2023 I scheduled my oil change and brought it in to the dealer only to be told the cost would not be covered as I had used all of my oil changes. At this point I had only used 4. I went home and called the service department for clarification. Several calls and voice mails went unanswered for weeks. I was finally able to get ahold of the main line receptionist who followed up with Gabe and Todd in the service department. We scheduled a meeting to go over my service contract. I have a binder with all of my original purchase agreements - nothing in any of the paperwork provided to me at the time of purchase stated any limitations regarding the oil change package. When I met with Todd and Gabe, they printed out 6 pages that were never provided to me at the time of purchase. These forms state that there are only 4 oil and filter changes included in the Scheduled Maintenance Plan. This is NOT what I was sold. It makes absolutely no sense financially to pay $1550 for 4 oil changes. At the time of the meeting Todd stated he would meet with the GM to get the additional 4 oil changes approved and added on to my contract. Since that meeting on 7/24/23 I have left several messages with Todd to follow up. On 7/31 I was informed that he no longer worked for the company but Gabe would be reaching out to me. It is now 8/22/23. I have called an additional 4 times with no response or resolution. RETURN MY CALLS AND HONOR THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT!

I had a mixed experience with them. I dropped my car off a few weeks ago and in the beginning, I was dealing with a service advisor who was surly and nonresponsive. I'd message him to get updates and he wouldn't get back to me. I did eventually get an update and asked him to wait while I contacted my insurance company to file a damage claim for the repair. After not hearing from him again, I called and found out he was no longer there. I then got assigned a new service advisor who was much more on top of it and immediately helped me with my car. It's very frustrating being kept in the dark and not getting updated on your car but I finally got the car back yesterday.
