I have not been to this theater in a long time. I went to see the Wiz 01/12/2024 and I must say the play was outstanding. The theater is spacious and I believe there is no bad seat in the house however, the homeless situation outside the theater and in the surrounding area is extremely sad and concerning.

Very nice interior. But it was very cold in the theater the moment the concert started (it was not as cool there before the concert started). And there were many times that the stage lights were flashed into the audience. Very bright. Is no one concerned about seizures from the flashing lights in the audience?

Wonderful venue. Last year we sat Balcony center, this year Mezzanine left - but I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Our annual Nutcracker outing is the highlight of our holiday season. A+!

Recently attended the production of Les Miserables. First time visiting the San Diego Civic Center and was very impressed!

Attended live comedy show. Everything was fine except homeless on the streets and the parking structure stairway smelled of urine.

As a larger person the seats were quite cramped. I saw that there were actual chairs without arms in the back of the mezzanine. I would have sat further back if one of those chairs was offered or available. The tight stadium seating and the lack of leg room killed my back and I was sitting at the end of the row, so I could partially stretch one leg.

I have come multiple times for Broadway shows, but also for a few dance productions. It's a large theater with multiple levels which I have sat in, and the seat were comfortable no matter where I sat. There are multiple concessions on each level, making it easy before before the show and during intermission to get drinks and snacks. There are more than plenty of bathrooms throughout the levels so no real long waits in lines that I have seen and experienced. They do offer season tickets, which I have considered, but never committed. They do setup a security outside before shows, but it's not strick with crazy rules. I would definitely come back to see more shows.

The first time here; acoustics is optimal, comfy seating, nice neighbors. Bravo Tina, all of the performers and production were excellent.

I stayed at the homeless shelter adjacent to (known as Golden Hall). The weed was excellent, I longboarded all over downtown. San Diego rocks.wooooo

Prominently located in this beautiful city! Top Broadway musicals! Many restrooms for guests! Nonetheless, the venue needs to be seriously updated. The steep balcony levels boast of seats with poor viewing angles or simply too high up. Yet, the tickets are competitive. Mezzanine seating is selectively made available. But if you’re feeling abundantly wanton, choose orchestra seating.

Parking is ample but expensive. Access is great, large beautiful theater all seats are good.

Always a great time. We've had Broadway San Diego season tickets for years, and it's worth every penny! The staff is always nice and helpful.

The only time I go to the Civic Center East to go to use their bathroom and then take it back on the trolley to go to American Plaza to get off that part of the trolley there in Groton ma Street to the Bank of America do some Banking and then get back on that go back over there and sometimes I go to that pizza shop as an American Plaza Shopping Center another idea of a do is get back on the trolley and go all the way back 8th Street trolley to pick up my bus go home

I'm a native of San Diego and I'm 64 yo so I've been here a number of times but it's been a long time since I've seen it on the inside. This time it's a shelter and not a venue, sadly I find myself homeless at the current time, but now I'm off the streets and moving in the right direction. I'm grateful!
