They are very professional and always kindly explaining each step by step procedure. I have been suffering from coldness on a molar which was not handled by previous two dentists. However, the dentist chose different approach and resolved it! I strongly trust dentists here and want to recommend them to my friends and other people.

I have been coming here since we moved to San Diego and everything has been great. Had a few cavities filled and the pricing was reasonable.

I absolutely recommend the dentist. I have been treated by the dentist for more than 3 years now so I have been through a couple of dentists and a few of dental assistants (or hygienists). They were all kind and nice, most importantly highly competent. I have got my teeth cared and cleaned every 6 months and have took my wisdom teeth with no pain at all. Dr. Ko is very kind and professional. I also like their customer care system. They let your make a reservation 6 months ahead for the regular check up, then you forget about it. They will contact you via message, Email and a call a week before and a day before the day of care. It is the great system for someone like me who is not very good at scheduling. First, I truly recommend Dr. Eugene Kim and San Diego Dental Group. I am grateful to Dr. Kim and the staff for the smile I got and the services received.

When I read one negative review here, I was so surprised because it is totally opposite from my experience with San Diego Dental Group.
Their equipments seem so cool & up-to-date to me. And when I got my treatment there, they were helping me a lot to use my insurance & they charged me even less fees comparing to other dentists, whom I was shopping around. So, I don't know what happened to her, but honestly it smells very suspicious to me.

When I finished my a treatment there, they even gave me WRITTEN, DOCUMENTED WARRANTY of their work. I never had such thing before other than car dealer. I mean these guys are really trying to standing up for their work and service.
It’s usually guys who didn’t do regular maintenance and blame the mechanic for THEIR PROBLEMS! On my side.
Bottomline, I had pleasant experience with Dr. Kim and am still going regular. I know how hard you worked to help me out with fees, and with insurance and etc.

I’ve been working with Dr. Kim almost five years. First thing I need to say is I am very happy with every experience with San Diego Dental Group. In other words, I still highly recommend this place to entire my family.
My first impression of this practice was highly organized and up to date practice that is bit different from other office. I was worried their cost is higher than other office but I kindda figure out their cost is very reasonable compare to other office. Dr. Kim was the one who always come to me first and tries to help me out to resolve problems that I have. I never had any pushing for the services or unreasonable hidden cost after the procedures. After the procedure, they even gave me warranty of dental treatments. Everybody in the office is very diligent and honest people for the best care for the patient. Needless to say Dr. Kim is always available when I need him. I am very comfortable to work with them and I am highly recommend this place to anyone who need dental work done.

WARNING! My family had the worst experience at this dentist. All they care about is your MONEY. My experience made me feel like they DO NOT care about their patients, only their money. If you read other yelp posts on here, you will see that there are multiple reviews mentioning the dentist trying to charge you more despite what is covered by your insurance. We had the same experience and this shows there is a PATTERN of DISHONESTY and LACK of INTEGRITY. Not only do they try to rip you off, the doctor is totally incompetent. My mom got an implant and as soon as she got it done, the implant was loose in her mouth! Then they charged her almost 10k for it even though she has insurance. When she went back to the dentist to ask about the loose implant, they told her that she has to get her implant "tightened" every few months! Have you ever heard of an implant that has to be tightened every few months? ! Despite their SPECTACULAR FAILURE, they won't give the money back nor offer a long term solution to this issue. And this is not it, my sister got her braces done here and despite her having the braces for 2 years, her teeth never fully straightened out. We finally went to a different dentist and when this new doctor looked out the way SD California dental group has treated the teeth, she was laughing out of disbelief. She could not believe the terrible job the dentist had done. Going to the dentist is already a stressful event. Do not make it worse by going here. This place will mess up your teeth and then charge you a ridiculous price to do so.

Terrific service in making sure that your appointment is painless and runs smoothly. It is astonishing to see all the latest technology from state of the art x-ray machines to the instruments they use to clean your teeth. You wait less than ten minutes to be admitted and you are done before you realize it. Chairs are so comfortable that you will feel relaxed throughout your appointment. The staff are all well trained and very efficient. I highly recommend this service to all my family and friends.

Very friendly staff and dentist. The office very clean. They open also on Saturday which really helped me a lot. My husband, my kids and I have the same dentist, Dr. Kim. Dr Kim is the best. I’m glad to find him as our dentist. Thank you.
