San Diego Marine Exchange reviews
15Recently spent a lot of money in this store seems they have everything very friendly staff. Highly recommend this store.
Great old fashioned store. Knowledgeable great help finding anything for any boat or marine project!
Great prices! Thanks for the AVBC discount and referal to west coast sailing! We'll be back soon!
Edit: our encounters with Paula at this store and our experiences with the sister store Downwind, have always been excellent and has prompted me to change the rating on the review.
We have a business account here and spend thousands and thousands of dollars and the customer service recently has become horrible. They act like they have no time to help you with anything. Just went five minutes before closing trying to hurry because it was close to closing and asked for help to find something and the employee said "that will be a challenge " and walked away. We have had same experiences calling to ask questions. Even complained to a manager once. The manager was nice, but most of the employees have a serious " no care" attitude. This place is losing our business and our thousands of dollars. We will now be buying parts for our marine repair business anywhere else we can.
I rarely make reviews of anything…ever. I just purchased my first boat, a little 32 Cabo Express. Headed on over to the marine exchange to set up my account and get some little extras for the boat. Don’t know how else to put it other than probably one of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had anywhere. Everyone inside is extremely helpful, happy, and courteous. Will definitely be coming back to do future business and be sending all my friends to you guys for all their own boat needs.
In terms of if you're actually looking for parts as opposed to apparel, this is your place!
Fully train star with of years of experience To answer your question.
Very polite and courteous going help customer even had an odd products on hand I needed for an older model outboard
THE boat building and restoration supplier in So. Cal. It's where all the professionals and serious amateurs purchase chemicals, fasteners, electrical, deck fittings, interior fixtures, and on and on. Professional staff for straight advice. The real deal.
They have everything and they are always eager to assist with a friendly smile and lots of knowledge. Thank you.
You gotta love these guys! I work as a yacht technician and find myself on parts runs here all the time. The staff is super helpful and personable. They know their stuff! Unlike some other marine parts stores that have "non boaters" as staff. Also for the size of the store, the selection is very impressive.
Full of all the small bits and parts that you need for the boat. Not much fishing stuff I saw but paints galore.
The best place in Southern California for marine parts. Dan has all the knowledge and skills to help you fix/install anything. On multiple occasions, he has taken the time to make sure I have everything needed to complete the job. Saving me time and trips to get what I need. Thanks again!
Good staff and good selection
I picked up parts with a friend to renew his electrical system
Dan is a true professional. When my boat calls for any kind of maintenance I look forward to revisiting SDME!
Love the friendly staff here, they always make you feel like you're at home. They have a good selection of boating products on their shelves and usually have what I need.
