Police Officers and Authorities, please neighbors from UTC beg we have more patrols in the area. We have had several car break-ins, belongings from our patios stolen, acts of vandalism in our properties. The ones that we dare to stop this people are unable to act or catch them because these thieves/vandals circulate around nighttime mostly, exactly when we rest in order to go to work the next day and help our system function!

Very unimpressed by our Police Department. Spoke with a couple of officers, they have a do not care attitude and are rude. Why do we pay your salaries? If you don’t want your job then just quit. You don’t realize that people on the other end or hurting or are scared and your attitudes suck. Be nice, sympathize, do your job that we pay you to do!

Needed a unit sent to our complex to investigate a sketchy guy photographing homes with lights off. They got here within 3-5 minutes and the photographer took off immediately. Thank you guys very much!

I used to work for the courthouse. Just got pulled over for speeding 7 over 65. But didn’t get a ticket for speeding because I wasn’t.

So I told the officer I needed 5 minutes to pull up my insurance on my phone, and he said he didn’t have time for that and I needed a physical card and not digital, and gave me a ticket for no insurance.

If that’s not corrupt I don’t know what is.
P. Huoth needs his badge revoked if he had to swear under oath. That’s harassment and giving people a hard time. Shame on him please check his recording footage for evidence if you have the option. Civilian complaint.

Don't even bother calling these guys. Got in a motorcycle accident, called them as soon as I was able to recollect my thoughts. 7 hours later, once the tow truck had my motorcycle ready to go, they decide to call me and ask me if I still needed an officer to be dispatched.this was after calling them multiple times asking where the officer was at. The accident happened just a few blocks away too, on La Jolla village drive. I left the scene at 10pm. Deeply disappointed in that department.

Not sure if it was because I mentioned that I was Hispanic (since they asked, not sure why that would matter). But these guys NEVER came. I can understand a couple of hours.shoot, even 3-4 hours, but 7 hours?

Read other reviews on yelp, and sure enough, many people complaining about racism/discrimination. What an absolute disgrace.

Got in a car accident on 10/4 someone hit my car from the back and run it took them more than an hour to show up They made a report and after one month from the accident I did not hear anything I called to check and find out that the report was not even sent to the hit and run department who suppose to take care of this and finally today 12/3 they just got it after 2 months and after calling and calling and every time they tell me different story spook to 3 sergeants the officers who took the report they all been lying rude and non of them care or wanted to do their jobs and finally they told me they lost it and they gonna re write it without even an apology we all do mistakes but lying and telling me punch of bs every time I call instead the truth is a joke how we can trust someone like this to protect us

Older lady on the phone doesn’t know how I file a police report. “You can submit it online? ” Doesn’t sit behind a computer so couldn’t tell me which police station is my district. Someone in the background barked it at her then I ask what is their phone number and on and on. Lastly she says “I don’t care cause I’m a volunteer want to come help? ” Haha they just aren’t nice people.

Drove up this morning to get a signature for a fix it ticket got there early because I thought it would take a while, the nice police officer at the front walked right out to my car with me, gave me his signature and a stamp and I was on my way. I was very pleased by the ease of this!

I asked the SDPD for help tonight (non-emergency) and was supported in the kindest, fastest and most successful way. Thank you so much!

If I could give them no stars or less, I would. 12 months ago, someone stole stuff from my house and I fought back. The officers took some of my belongings as "evidence" and I still don't have them back. They never answer the phone, they claim they're too busy and they even hang up while you're trying to talk! The people employed there do not value their jobs nor do they value your time. They don't protect and serve, they're lazy and time consuming jerks.

My first time to SD Police Department. I need to get signature for my fix-it ticket. I was greeted by an officer. In and out in 5 min. Pleasant experience! Thank you officer.

Each time I have requested assistance from the SDPD, no matter what type of service, I have been met with professionalism, well mannered, and respectful officers each time. Definitely, SDPD's law enforcement officers the City should be very proud of, as should the public at large.

Someone broke into my house last night and this department responded and spent 2 hours with many, many police and cars and a helicopter and caught the person. They were here in what seemed like only 3 to five minutes and didn't leave until they had hunted down the person, arrested him and made sure everything at my house was safe again. I cannot say enough about there incredible response and professionalism, their kindness and courtesy! They will, as always, be in my thoughts and prayers! I am so incredible grateful for their service.

The team at Northern are thorough and responsive. A very positive experience during our personal stressful situation. Thank you.
