Thank you for taking care of me at San Dimas Community Hospital I’ve never had such a wonderful staff, and I’ve stayed in many hospitals in my lifetime. Thanks to everyone from room 109 during the four days of my stay as an inpatient: Luis, Desiree, Calista, Christina, Jisha, Dr. Lin, Dr. Jay, Dr. Singh. And from ER: Kevin, Darrah, & phlebotomist Noemi, and Irene from housekeeping. Thank you everyone for saving my life. I am very grateful!

I’m weary about new hospitals because I am chronically ill and have my “usuals”. I came here hoping for good care with low standards, but the nurses and doctors were awesome. I was in and out fast, and cared for really well. I can’t really ask for more. I appreciated all of the staff a lot.

Honestly, I was amazed at how they were quick to help my mom. I'm very grateful to the staff that had to put up with my mom.she's a tough woman to deal with. I highly recommend this hospital.

I tested positive for Covid, was feeling very ill, already symptomatic. The doctor told me that he was recommending monoclonal antibodies because of my medical sensitivity. He never communicated with the pharmacy. 2 1/2 hours later, a nurse comes in, and tells me that the pharmacy is closed so I’ll have to come back at 6 AM the following morning, if I want to be seen right away. The doctor said he would let the scheduling desk know I was coming. He also never communicated with them, because when I showed up at 6 AM the next morning, I was told I would have to wait eight hours for an exam room. A completely different doctor, then said I was not eligible for antibodies. When I told him about my pre-existing condition, he looked me dead in the eye and said “I don’t know what that is“. I told him to go look it up then, and he left, saying he would bring out the doctor I hadn’t seen the night before. He ended up sending a nurse out, to suggest that we just go to Pomona Valley instead. Absolutely incompetent staff, doctors who would rather argue then educate themselves about a patient’s condition. He ended up approving the antibodies anyway, they still suggested we go to Pomona Valley instead. Absolutely incompetent, uneducated, and uncaring doctors.

This is a one star rating solely based on lack of professionalism, lack of empathy and lack of prioritizing "emergency" patients.
Went in for a foot injury where I sat and waited from 10 pm to almost 5 am. The only reason I was seen is because of one patients complaints In regards to hiring a lawyer to make a formal complaint on her behalf from her existing condition is what woke them up. Her legs were swelling up and she was worried that she was having a blood clot (pre existing condition) she explained several times to staff that she was anemic and her blood pressure was dropping.the male nurse MR. Ray Young was extremely unprofessional and rude when she asked if he can recheck her vitals as she was not feeling well. He proceeded to rudely respond and not care that she she had a real condition and was feeling ill he rudely brought the machine out didn't offer her anything not even a blanket as we both sat in wheelchair at the entrance door in hallway on an extremely cold night. I started feeling discomfort in my back due to 4herniated discs and sitting for so long yet I couldn't relieve my back pain because of my foot injury they didn't care to leave us there. I witnessed a woman with stroke/heart attack symptoms and they made her wait at least 4 hours yet they had a young dumb woman who ate a marijuana edible under observation and in a bed.like who the hell prioritizes eating an edible over a possy heart attack.
. Let's notmention the incompetent security guards who are so loud in their Lil office watching Instagram and TikTok videos.telling each other "suck my d"""" "f.u" so loud it could be heard in the entire hallway and d waiting room. Place needs a facelift starting with cleaning house and changing staff

By no fault of the staff do they get a low star rating. The hospital is understaffed and unprepared. People were stacked up in the ER hallway waiting to be seen with only one doctor on duty. When I walked through the hallway there was blood everywhere and patients that desperately needed help. The poor condition of the hospital is worse than a hospital in Kabul. Please feel free to look up of photos of Kabul hospital, it is actually nicer than San Dimas. I hope that the owners of the hospital can somehow get the funds to help the staff and clean up the environment. Yes this is a harsh review…but the truth hurts.

San Dimas Community Hospital has an excellent team in Outpatient Surgery. In addition to Dr. Patrick Truong - Paula, Frank, Yang and Vicki took excellent care of me. They showed professionalism, compassion and understanding, and put my mind at ease. The San Dimas community is lucky to have an award winning hospital with a great staff and physicians right in their own back yard.

Had to take off one person from seeing my medical records 2 months before my scheduled summary, for 7 months the continued sharing and contacting this person as a primary instead of calling me. Hospital refuses to acknowledge it and keeps ignoring me. Be careful they like to share information with anyone that’s calls about you.

Definitely do not go to this hospital. Went to the ER months ago, paid my bill off, then just last week, got another bill from them saying I still owe them a good amount of money. Going to call to see what's going on because it's ridiculous why I'm being charged AGAIN for a higher price than what I paid already.

Update: whoever I was supposed to talk to (the number they provided on my bill) did not pick up.

Location: Good, Service: Excellent, Food: Good, feeling secure: yes, covid ready: yes. Overall: When I walked through the ER doors I could only utter 3 words "I can't Breathe ". From that moment the stag of San Dimas were on it to find my illness and then to give me a cure. I do thank the Vaccine for a speedy recovery but the doctors and nurses kept checking on me until I walked out the door. Now the only tension I can't give 4 stars is their room TV situation. For me having my Cell was a life line but many only have the phone in their room and the TV on the wall to keep them semi - sane. For my Mom who was also in the hospital none of those worked and it made her time there miserable.

This facility let my Father languish in feces.
Nurse was yelling at him, as well.
I heard it with my own ears.
The phone system disallows for communication with your loved ones.
Do NOT go here.

Never asked me about what medication i was on or medical history.prescribed Bactrim and it gave me severe anxiety and depression.tried to tell me that was not a side effect of the antibiotic.it is! I suggest the ER doctors be more knowledgeable about what they are prescribing and listen to patients even if my side effects from medication are rare.

This is the worst hospital I’ve ever been
every time I go I have to wait for hours before being helped, even if there isn’t anyone in the waiting room. Some staff are inefficient and I’ve even had an incident where one of the staff was on their phone instead of helping us.

I got my second COVID vaccine this afternoon. I strongly dislike needles and both Diane and Amanda are amazing! I never felt a thing. So grateful for such an amazing staff. Thank you!

The people are nice, but there is a lack of full responsibility taken by staff. For example, at the main entrance there has been 20 feet of sticky spilled soda across the path for a month, with no cleaning. This is the path that every doctor, nurse, and janitor takes to enter the building.

I hope the cleaning in non-public areas is better than this, but I can’t tell.
