San Francisco Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve reviews
11Beautiful and very quiet people laying on the beach, small beach but really nice laughter of small children is wonderful.
Springtime trails along the sloughs of the Delta are not to be missed! Wildflowers remain abundant and wildlife sightings are a frequent bonus. I saw great egret, redwinged blackbirds, evidence of burrowing owls, cormorants and a river otter crossed the trail in front of me. Air is soft and sweet out here, so a great place for a little respite from our urban sprawl.
Great mountain biking. Good for many levels. And beautiful bay views. Be aware of the poison oak
I come here to go trail running and to escape the Heat in the east bay. Great trails and nice beginner intermediate mountain biking trails.
Fun place, good for exploring. Just make sure to bring your own food, options are limited there.
Beautiful coastline great educational place for children and adults friendly staff it was an all-around wonderful experience
Wide open spaces. Wetlands with trails.
Very Bueatiful place. Must see to appreciate.
Nice, great views all around San Rafael, the northern San Francisco and San Pablo sections of the bay.
A nice reserve with a few hiking trails along the Bay from China Camp State Park. On a clear day the views are nice with some great scenery.
Beautiful views hiking the shoreline trail in the China Camp area in san Rafael. There is a use fee of trail. You can pay on the trail by the Ranger station. It appears to be less expensive to park in provided parking lots for 2 to 4 people in one car. As the parking fee includes the use of the trails for up to 4 people.
Trail can be picked up in several locations including the ranger station. No dogs allowed on trail. Beaware there are mountain bikes on the trail. I will come back. Hope you enjoy your visit.
