San Francisco Honda reviews
19Don’t go to this place. They tell that they are there to help you but they are not! All they tell are all just lies. Do NOT believe them.
Salesman Gabriel De Leon put in the extra effort to locate the Honda Ridgeline model and color I wanted.
Financing and purchase process was very smooth and I drove away in my new truck very happy.
I got a car with Honda a month ago. I've had problem with this car since 2weeks I've been to the dealer 5 times with the same issue (in a month) when they showed me the car everything was fine.my sensors keep coming on, on the dash, my AC / heat has a delay.there is a paper sound coming from my tire but they say nothing is wrong.the sales person replies when she feels like it. Keep in mind I wanted a car like the one I have but not the one i have.i expressed this being a safety concern since the heat lags i can not defrost my windows when needed. Honda has showed no concern for this 2 be a dealership.
If your looking for a new car don’t come here, they hire just anyone with no knowledge of vehicles or with financing. This place is. Example of a poor customer service. Don’t fall into anything with them, they are the worse car lot in SF. Their staff members/Car Salesman have lack of knowledge and barely
Knows anything. They do not know how to fully communicate with you. No wonder why they have several bad reviews don’t trust this place or the sales agents. They all use drugs while showing vehicles, they lack sense of humor and lack intelligence on vehicles. Do yourself a favor go some where else!
Can you please make it so I can check if my car is locked all ready either through an app or on my key fob please I click the lock button everytime I pay the meter. Is that damaging the lock mechanism?
Great, got my second key and an oil change at the same day, only took me about 2 hours. Thank you
Extremely overpriced (charges literally THOUSANDS of dollars more than other mechanics) and believe it or not, they stole my keychain! I handled them my car key with all my keychains, they took all the keychains and left inside my car, but an expensive one was missing. When I complained about my missing keychain, they did not take me seriously and not even apologized for losing it.
Karim and the manager are the worst. Don't go here. All they do is tell you what they can't do and slap you with the blue book value. From the start I felt unwelcome and awkward.
We just traded in our old lease and leased a new hybrid from Paulo Acosta at San Francisco Honda and were very happy with our experience with him and the dealership. After going to several other Honda dealerships around the Bay Area and even calling downstate to compare offers, Paulo was able to get us the best deal, working with us to get the cost down to a number we could do. The other dealerships gave us the runaround and didn't follow up when we held at the numbers we needed to be able to get a new car. He was very friendly and professional and made the usual tedious process of buying a car pleasant. And the new showroom on Van Ness is beautiful. I am thrilled with my new car!
I came by chance after an appointment with Toyota. James sat with me, asked me questions to understand what I wanted, and showed me a couple of cars they had just gotten. I was not expecting him to be so nice and helful! My sister did the negotiations and he was not pushy at all, which would have made me very uncomfortable. I found a used almost new HR-V that I really like. James made this feared process super easy. Thanks!
The whole process of finding a new car used to be exciting and fun. Because of reasons too numerous to mention, that has changed to anxiety and frustration. That said: My experience with San Francisco Honda was wonderful. Being aware of the current car-buying landscape, I worked with Gabriel De Leon to make my purchase as pleasant as possible. My whole journey from finding the right vehicle/putting down a deposit, to the actual purchase was monitored by Gabriel who communicated with me throughout the whole process. He went above and beyond. The car is great, too.
Thank you very much.
I must say, I was extremely hesitant to go to my pre-approved tentative appointment with the dealership or any dealership for that matter. Just because most of you probably know how intimidating the whole experience can be and how insistent used/new car salesman can be.
From my initial contact via chat messaging with the dealership to working with my sales rep a young lady by the name of Jesse. And then to meet her manager Van and work with everybody else on the team to get me into a vehicle which included all the paperwork! Yes! You read that correctly. They handled all the paperwork from, licensing, registration and insurance.
I was extremely impressed to find that there are people out there that care and take pride in their work and have empathy for the customer they are working with. Folks who actually go the extra mile and provide you with exemplary customer service support with the utmost professionalism.
Don’t go to this dealer they add 9000 more than all other dealers in the area set appointments and have you wait 45 minutes hold your driver’s license hostage try to talk you into way too long terms getting the same car in Sacramento for 9000 less
Great service! Daniel is very friendly and knowledgeable about the products. I came in didn't expect to get a car because of the limited stock but I walked out with my brand new Honda! Overall great experience!
Hello car shoppers, if you are first time buyers like we are, go and seek Gabe at sf Honda. He helped us find exactly what we were looking for and he kept us updated and answered every question very professionally. This man needs a raise.he gave us the best sales experience after visiting over 20 dealerships. We bought the car in 1 visit. 100 stars
These people are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Particularly grateful to Angel who is honest and extremely helpful in getting a car during this stressful purchasing time. Couldn’t ask for anything more, and by the way the car is fantastic too!
Got my new Honda Accord Hybrid 2022 from SF Honda. It was a pleasure working with Paolo Acosta, my dealer who helped me through the entire process. Highly professional and a perfect experience. Thanks a lot Paolo and continue the good work.
Recently contacted this dealership a few weeks back to inquire about a Honda Passport that was advertised in their website as in stock. I received a text after my online submission within minutes asking me to come in and test drive. Since I live over 45 miles away, I asked the person in our text (Xavier) to take a pic of the car so I can make sure it’s indeed the one I submitted the inquiry for. He told me that particular vehicle wasn’t in stock, but on the way to the dealership. So I requested he reach out to me when it’s landed and ready to be appreciated in person.
I received a text today (after about 2 weeks) that the vehicle has arrived. When I arrived to the dealership, I told a person sitting at a desk that I had an appointment with Xavier. He asked for my name and said “okay let me go get him”. The same person came back saying that Xavier was “on vacation” and that Angel was going to help me. I curiously asked “if he is on vacation then who was texting me? ” And he said “oh, Angel was, he’s coming down soon. ” So I was walking around the showroom and after a few minutes of waiting in an empty dealership, I decided to just head out. I could see the person at the desk staring at me from the other side of the showroom, and would look down at his phone each time I caught his uncomfortable stares. Another gentlemen approaches me, and asks what my name is. I assumed he was Angel, but he told me he wasn’t and asked what I was there for. I told him that Angle had sent me a text about my car on behalf of Xavier. He said that Angel wasn’t available so he could help me.
Rather then going back and forth, I told the person that I would return another time. As I was getting ready to leave, another gentlemen walks down stairs and claims to be Angel, and the prior person walks away.
When I spoke with “Angel” I asked if he was the one texting me earlier.he said no. He also didn’t know my name, what car I came in for, or anything really for that matter. He asked me to take a seat at which point I told him I didn’t want to sit, that I want to see the car that I was told had arrived.
At this point after talking with “text Xavier”, desk guy, other person, and “Angel” I decided it was best to just head out. The lack of professionalism and sense of greed is something I will not deal with. Especially when I’m expected to pay a dealer mark that was thousands above MSRP.
It makes sense why the dealership was lacking customers.
I had a 7am appointment and they didn't show till 7: 15 they told me that my car will be ready in a hour and half and they 2 hour for an oil change they made me berry late to work.
