San Francisco International Airport

Although this is one humongous establishment, the outstanding signage points you almost always in the right direction. The AirTrain is fast and efficient for travel between terminals, onsite hotel, and car rental center. Traffic is handled well and shuttle bus services to local hotels run frequently. Many other airports could learn a lot from the management here.

San Francisco Airport staff were kind and experienced, enhancing my travel experience. However, the airport was too cold, and there were limited washrooms and water machines. Improvements needed for passenger comfort.

Most of SFO is great, but the signage for how to get to BART/AirTrain, etc.need to be improved

Landed here from Taipei in A Gate, had a connecting flight back home to Atlanta in C Gate. I don’t mind the walk between the gates but there is literally ZERO point for me to have to go through security again to get into C Gate. I’m flying domestically and it’s not like I just got here. I was ALREADY checked at Taiwan before I could even dream of stepping into a plane. Never mind the fact that the security entrance lines were awfully organized, making the whole ordeal even more frustrating. Avoid SFO and try to have your connections at LAX instead, thanks

Lots of good new restaurants (expect airport prices). Remodel in process really doesn't impact passengers at all.

Relatively small airport with friendly staff. Don't have to take anything out of bags for security. There's some decent restaurants there as well

Nothing special but certainly no problems either. Reasonable selection of food options while waiting to depart. Tidy but not necessarily clean. Most staff seem friendly and patient.

The airport is great, but the United Lounge was so crowded that it felt better to sit at the gate! How quickly things change!

Good signage and no detours or areas under construction in the United terminal. I arrived 12: 30 am and had no checked bags so it was quiet and quick to get my Lyft.

SFO airport is one of the good airport in USA. The air-train is convenient to use inside the airport.

Immigration check lines can be large but moves fast.

Plenty of food and transportation options

We flew in with BA and collected a rental car. The air bridge setup worked well. The international terminal is well signed with enough shops and restaurants.

Stay out of San Francisco and Oakland there Is alot of theft don't leave anything in your cars

Almost missed flight despite a decent time buffer partly thanks to a departure delay by Delta. Digital ID wasn’t accepted, Digital ID TSA PreCheck wasn’t accepted, Global Entry with TSA PreCheck didn’t work because it wasn’t on ticket for some reason, was sent back to end of line, Delta couldn’t reprint ticket, even though PreCheck is on account and booking, and offered no help even though I was now at risk of missing flight. Had to start over on Non-PreCheck line, which wasn’t any slower than PreCheck, until they sent me back to end of line to randomly repeat check and then made me randomly go through an additional scan. Oh, and then Delta told me at the gate that they changed my booked seat.

This is my 13th visit to USA. First time I found immigration process was very fast and smooth. Wish the US Govt provides more staff to handle atleast 4 more counters to speed up the immigration work.

Luggage arrived much before I could reach the belt. That's great.

Further, the customs department was very cordial and are quick in clearing

Overall experience was good in SF airport.

It's alright.isn't gonna be at doha Airport or the Turkish airport in Istanbul.any time soon

When we got there from ATL, our check-in time was at 1AM even though we landed at 9PM. We had nothing to do except sit around and wait. The bathrooms were nice though. I wanted to check out the aviation museum but it was closed. Mostly everything was clean and check-in staff were nice. TSA was easy and swift as well. I was going to go to the Air France lounge but it was under renovation at that time, so I went to the China Airlines lounge which was not the best, but it was something. Overall good airport!

Their rideshare location is an absolute joke. I think it's intentional poor placement to make it difficult to use.
