San Francisco Pole + Dance

I started taking Aerial classes for the first time about 9 months ago and I can’t recommend it enough! Deborah has been an amazing instructor, she always makes sure to give instructions that everyone can follow no matter their background in silks, and she is always willing to correct/help you whenever you need it. The SF pole and dance space is very welcoming and friendly, and I always look forward to the next class. Thank you Deborah and SF pole and dance for these amazing classes!

Came here for some classes when I was on holiday and it was amazing. Lovely receptionist, lovely studio and instructors. Poles are so so so tall, gorgeous mirrors and good flooring. Highly recommend!

I took my third pole dance class last week. Maestra Patti was my teacher, and she rocked! She explained things really well and was very encouraging along the way. I felt sexy (for the first time!) AND super strong. The best part is I was able to get a trick that I hadn’t been able to do before. She broke it down in a way that really made sense to me. Yay!

I’m not sure words can adequately express how much I love this studio and the people who make up its community! From the first time I walked into the SF studio I felt supported and safe to explore and learn, no matter how little experience I came in with, how I looked or who I was. I have absolutely fallen in love with pole dancing and so much of that is due to the amazing community and its phenomenal teachers and staff!

I especially want to shout out:
Karina for being the best hype-woman there is at 8: 30 on a Tuesday morning and being an absolute joy to learn from!
Christy is my pole mama and I have learned so much from her in the past 11 months- from the way she breaks down moves into manageable pieces, conditions the sh*t out of you, and cheers you on relentlessly.
Maddie is truly masterful with her choreography and made it so easy to pick up the sequence when a group of us did the Fall showcase, and made me feel so badass doing it too.
TLDR: every teacher here is supportive, encouraging, and genuinely invested in their students’ success, whatever that looks like for each individual.
This studio is incredible, try out a class- you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been going to this studio for almost a year now, and I totally love everything about it: cool and trendy space, friendly atmosphere, wide variety of classes to choose from, but most importantly — amazing and knowledgeable instructors!
I would especially recommend any of the Os’s classes— he is always extra-attentive to all the details, breaking down the material to such small pieces that your progress, safe for your body, is guaranteed!

Jenna is incredibly welcoming at the front desk! Classes with Kyra, Lisa, and Maddie are always INSANELY fun and they really make me feel good about myself! LOVE them!

This wonderful space! I love being here and taking classes with the entire set of instructors, no exceptions. Maddie (Madison Rose) is a knockout and has been instrumental in guiding me here. She is extremely knowledgeable and so kind as an instructor, and I love bringing friends who are pole-curious to her beginning classes.

And Yoko! Yoko's choreo classes keep me dancing in my seat all week. Get yourself to her class asap! I love bringing friends who have their heel legs to Yoko's flow classes, they are so much fun, and Yoko's choreography is absolutely gorgeous.

I love this studio and these people! Classes are fun and challenging-a good workout without feeling like a workout, plus great music. Daisy is my favorite choreo teacher, love the slow flow <333

I really love Mae Mae's classes. She explains the exercises and tricks in detail so you know exactly how to move. You get better each time!

I started taking classes at SF Pole and Dance in July 2022 and have really felt like I've found my pole dance home. All of the instructors are incredible and the community is so warm and supportive. It's easy to make new friends in this space. I have taken Heels Choreo classes with Aby, Mae Mae, Natalie, Kyra, Yoko, and Allison. They each have a unique style and have made me feel beautiful while getting fit. I love the special pop up classes, like twerking with Crystal, and edge work with Amy - so much fun! I've taken conditioning classes with Amy and Christy that absolutely destroyed me in the best way.:) I also love Aby's style of dancing so much that I've started taking private classes with her regularly, in addition to her Heels Choreo classes. She has really helped me build my strength and my confidence in pole! She is great at correcting me and teaching me good technique, and she is always cheering me on.:)

I had a beginner's class with Mae Mae and she was so sweet! She was really patient with me and she showed me techniques step by step and really made things understandable for me:) She's also super encouraging and she has such fun and positive energy!

Really enjoyed taking classes here! So inclusive and a really good space to enjoy yourself and learn pole! My friend Georgina recommended coming here and I ended up getting a package deal. The teachers are so inspiring and supportive! 10/10 would come back.

Love coming here! I've taken the L1 series for pole and a few heels choreo class and it's been a really fun way to workout. Took L1 series with Mae Mae and she was such a great teacher! She broke down everything and made it super digestible and fun to learn. I've also taken heels with Natalie and learned the choreo and dances as someone who hasn't ever had any dance experience, this has been such a positive experience!
