San Joaquin Hotel, Fresno CA

Pas propre, personnel pas agréable. Cet hôtel est à l'abandon, néanmoins les prix sont attractifs.
J'ai quand même signalé qu'aucune ampoule ne fonctionnait dans la chambre, le réceptionniste à rigolé. Quand on en est à ce niveau là il faut fermer l'établissement.

We give two stars only because the rooms were mostly clean. Other than that, this was our worst overnight experience in the US so far.
We have never met such an unfriendly and indifferent hotel staff. We were not greeted or seen off in a single encounter. Although a self laundry service was indicated, we were not allowed to wash our clothes because the hotel supposedly needs all the washing machines all day. Which in our eyes was their problem rather than ours and extremely poor service to boot. The hairdryer in the bathroom was missing and when we tried to find out how long breakfast would be available, no one answered the phone at the reception. Online it said until 10 am. Which of course turned out to be wrong and so we did not get breakfast.

This place is ok.the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. There's a living room & bedroom both with flat screen TVs. Balcony, fridge, microwave, desk. Be prepared for a. $200 deposit though. That takes 7-10 days to get.back.it was.a. Decent place, clean, for the most part quiet.

Stayed here for a couple of nights the place was noisy and nosey my first IPhone got locked here this place is for the birds and even had some person come to my door really late they got wrong room won't be back

I like to share "good" and "not so good" reviews.
I'm sorry but this place should be closed down and redone. The rooms are filthy. The carpets looked like they've not been cleaned in years. The decor, old and outdated. I went to 2 diff rooms, neither were satisfactory.
How could an owner be proud to have people stay here? Would their family stay here? I wouldn't let my dog on the sofa they to were filthy. I was there less than an hour. So VERY DISAPPOINTED! The one positive thing I have to say, the grounds could be very pretty and probably were at one time.

The old saying, "You get what you pay for, " applies here. The price is reasonable; however, I avoided the couch which looked like some unmentionable activities had occurred there. Also, there were people roaming the grounds who looked like they were undergoing substance abuse issues. Again, on the plus side, the location is good and the rooms are spacious. At the time I stayed, the hotel was very quiet. As others have noted, be prepared for a $200 deposit at check-in.

This place is unsanitary my husband and I needed to take a shower after walking out the sofa seat was grey but it was so dirty that it was black same thing with the carpet

Very cheap prices, but the quality of rooms definitely reflects that. Many doors won't even close and the handle to one of the rooms in my suite just came right off. Everything had lots of stuff marks are was dirty and damaged, would not recommend.

I only give 3 stars because the room was good and had a good experience but the lady at the front desk in the morning was not nice at all when I went to ask about the breakfast she had me waiting for about 8 minutes and when she came out she told me she was on her break but if she is in her break someone should take the front desk over because when I was waiting a couple came and the left because I told them that the lady was not coming over all she has a very bad aditude and very bad customer service given from her and if someone is not at the front desk and is ignoring the customers the hotel loses customers.

I booked at this hotel for a friend and her family. They cancelled my confirmed booking because I lived in Fresno. I have never heard of such a thing. So if you live in Fresno, don't even consider this place. I will never recommend them again for my family or friends

The rooms are fine for the price. Furniture was pretty stained, but hey, it’s cheap. Main problem is that they ask a crazy high deposit of $200 (!) per room, and the refund of the deposit is very slow…
