San Jose Bike Clinic reviews
11 Went to this lovely place a couple of weeks ago to add brake and shifter cables on my bike.
Typically, especially as a woman, these places can be very condescending, but the folks working were the complete opposite of that, only helping out when I asked.
It's a great place to work on your bike if you don't have room at your place or a bike stand. Will be coming again soon (right after I finish writing this review as a matter of fact lol).
I went the place at Sunday 7: 45 pm. I found the place is closed however it is written on the door that it is open until 8 on Sunday: (
This bike clinic isn’t necessarily open when they say they’ll be open. I’ve come two times when they were suppose to be there and the place is dark. Big disappointment and a waste of my time. Only go here if you have no other choice. Sorry to pan the place.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cut me a discount when I asked about installing the lock I bought there.
The best place to build a bike. I took my new bike and they help me build and teach me how to build them. For a great price.
I came out from there past 8pm today, I brought my son's Cannondale bike to fix chain rubbing against front derailleur housing. A guy worked persistently to fix the problem. I was able to happily bring it back home.
My rear wheel was falling apart (3 broken spokes and wobbling). Walt helped me replace the spokes and true the wheel. It was a very nice time working in the shop with him. I would absolutely recommend you take your bike to this non-profit shop run by passionate volunteers.
I went here a couple weeks ago due to issues with a used bike I had recently bought, and was stunned by how helpful the people working here were. Gary, Steve, and Manny spent probably around an hour and a half helping me fix a couple different issues on what I found out was a very stubborn bike. Everyone was super patient, especially considering that they're all volunteers! I can't recommend this place enough.
Awesome non-profit bike repair clinic where you can get your bike tuned or fixed up for a mere $5! The bike mechanic there on a Sunday evening was super knowledgable and helped me tune my new hybrid bike with disc brakes without a hitch! So grateful that this place exists <3
Very friendly and very knowledgeable, they always do a great job tuning up my bike and helping me replace parts.
