San Timoteo Trail Parking reviews
7 Don't leave any valuables in your car. There is lots of broken glass from cars being broken into.
Thankfully, my car wasn't broken into. The trail was nice.
My dog, Aura and I really enjoy this trail walk/hike. It's flat through a majority of the area with some brisk inclines, what goes down, must go up, lol. During the spring season, the yellow flowers get about 7' tall and can make someone feel like their in, "Alice in Wonderland", it has a few areas where the Santa Ana River can be enjoyed. Summer brings out rattlesnakes and other reptilian things, be careful and stay on the trails; also, please avoid using anything that could cause a fire. Fall is also filled with rattlesnakes, due to the Inland Empire's warm climate. The winter fields are dead and empty of all vegetation and life. It's a very nice walk all year around, good to clear the mind, exercise, bird watch, chill by the river, bicycles are welcome here. Enjoy!
I rode my mountain bike here I believe it is a 5 mile trail, the trails were easy and flowy
Enjoyed this trail immensely. Tons of spring flowers, different trail options. Still in progress but even still a great little hike.
This may be for the Santa Mateo trail parking, but Mike reviews for the Santa Mateo Trail. The Santa Mateo trail offers multiple trailheads. Some giving a commanding view of the valley other is letting you walk next to the beautiful water and reserve. Depending on the route, you take your hike can be 4 to 6 miles. Whichever way you take it it’s still a beautiful little trail not overcrowded, but definitely well used. Perfect place for a little jog or hiking date…
Best place for family hiking or ride the bikes, my 10 and 8 years daughter's love this place because they can ride their bikes and take some breaks to enjoy nature at the same time!
