Sanctuary Coffee, Claremont CA

Come here every morning for a cup of latte. Usually i come early and sit outside because it get crowded later on.

First time here. A friend invited my family.
We enjoyed being able to visit over a coffee and m&m

I ordered a chai latte with whole milk, it was ok but pretty bland, I would probably just go to Starbucks instead… This place is huge so it would be a good place to work or study

I come here when I need to get work done. I like that there are outlets and extension cords everywhere so everyone can plug in. There is plenty of seating and tables. You might have to share a table if it's a busy day. They even have a conference room you can use for meetings, if needed. They also have couches and seating pillows.

I mainly like how the noise volume is not too loud and not too quiet. People are very good at keeping their conversations relatively low because a lot of people are usually on laptops doing something. You still get the background noise of a typical coffee shop, which I enjoy.

I only order food if I am hungry. I've only had their bagels and a cranberry scone; both were good. I usually order the dirty Chai, but if it's an intense work day, I get the fresh brew unlimited. The unlimited is bottomless! You can have as much coffee as you like. Coffee quality is great to me, but you decide for yourself. I'm mainly here for the workspace and wi-fi.

Such a nice space with friendly staff, not overly loud but with a healthy amount of chatter and background noise for studying. The assortment of seating choices was a plus as well, getting the choice between a couch or table space was a nice change of pace from other coffee shops. With finals season drawing near I definitely will be visiting more.

Great coffee, nice vibes. Seating for individuals, small work groups, cozy gathering spaces and an enclosed meeting room.

Excellent coffee! Friendly baristas! And an excellent place to sit back and read, study, or just enjoy the ambiance. I love their selection of coffees and they serve pour overs. I live in Ontario so it should be a little far for a cup of coffee but well worth the drive and time.

The place, the staff and the vibe are really good and it feels great to be there to do work on your laptop. However, the quality of the coffee is pretty bad and you can tell it is cheap. It would be the best place in the area if their coffee quality was as good as everything else.

Thirty minutes for a cup of coffee? I get being short staffed but today was absolutely maddening.

First visit. I was excited to go because of all the reviews. I was seriously let down.

This is a great coffee shop with a great mission (donations go to support charities who are on the front lines of social concerns). The brewed coffee is good. The indoor seating has several different options. There are several tables both larger and smaller for getting work done. There is a comfy area with a couple of couches and a coffee table. There is an elevated steps area with cushions for reading. And there is a conference room with glass walls that can be reserved.
It was fairly busy when I visited on a Wed around 10am. Most of the seating was occupied, so I sat on the stepped platform for awhile and then moved to one of the couches.
Cool vibe with a great collection of people. Friendly staff too.
It was cold outside, so I didn't have an opportunity to try out the patio, but it's not super cute anyway and borders the parking lot. I think the indoor space is the place to be.
I highly recommend stopping by this coffee sanctuary.cause it truly is.:)

Pretty pleased with sanctuary coffee, stopped in there today on my way to an appointment and had no idea this cute place was right in Claremont. Coffee was delicious too. Had the Carmel turtle I think it was called? Coffee was smooth it was nice. Zucchini bread was good. Wondered if it was made with applesauce lol. M&M cookie was 10/10. Fair prices & Good vibes <3
