Sanctuary Fitness - Pasadena reviews
16Great workout on a Sunday morning! Good balance of floor/abs and cardio/strength exercises. This was a partner workout and I had an encouraging buddy who helped me get through the workout, which ended up a lot more challenging than it originally appeared. You are able and encouraged to push or modify as you see fit. Ample free street parking around the parking, at least for the morning hours that I was there (Pasadena). I've actually been to both locations now and like the vibe, workout, and staff in both places quite a lot.
I love sanctuary! The vibe, the people, the music, all of it! And it’s a great workout for endurance and strength! Love all the equipment they have to use too.
Just did my first class at Sanctuary Fitness, and I'm in LOVE! The instructor is attentive and knowledgeable, the community is welcoming, and I couldn't ask for more from a workout class. I'm recommending everyone to come.
Absolutely love it. The workouts are great and the instructors are helpful & motivating.
Love Sanctuary! Super nice instructors, clean facility, fun equipment and structured workouts. Coming here is a highlight of my week - would recommend!
Sanctuary Fitness is amazing! I am exploring different gyms & classes in Pasadena recently and immediately become a big fun of sanctuary fitness. ALL instructors are so kind and encouraging. They not only explain different moves in details but also offer alternatives to help you. The environment is also great. Definitely worth your time to check it out.
Excellent facilities and friendly trainers. The format allows for pushing and modifications as needed — which I really appreciate from a HIIT class!
Maria:
2 minutes late = can NOT join, warmup has already started
5 minutes late = it’s fine you can walk right in
There is this lady called Maria, I was 2 minutes late and she did not let me join the class because “you can not join the class after warmup has started, instructors are very strict. ” On the other hand, a guy walked in 3 minutes after me and he got to walk right in while Maria was blocking the door because he “called”. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
All Sanctuary Fitness coaches are highly supportive and attentive, readily offering corrections when necessary. The community is also exceptional.
Love the classes at SF! The staff is accommodating and the instructors provide useful individualized feedback. I felt very welcomed into the studio as a new client.
Didn’t think group fitness was for me, but I took a chance here on a ClassPass to see if I’d like it and now I’m hooked. Great instructors, fun energy.
Classes are engaging and consistent. Clean facility and professional staff. Looking forward to my next class!
Amazing place with great workouts! The instructors and staff are all super friendly and welcoming. The community is very supportive. Equipment and facilities are top notch. Overall an amazing value and I always leave classes feeling great.
Sanctuary Fitness has an amazing HIIT workout format. There is various types of equipment and it is kept clean. The instructors are helpful and energetic. I get a good sweat from going from station to station. Overall a great place to exercise. The facility is neat and enjoyed the shower and amenities in the locker room.
I've been working out/training for 14 years now and so happy i found Sanctuary Fitness. Classes leave my body more sore than i have in a long time. They take the guess work out for you; plan the work, show you the movements, and bring the energy to get you through it. The sanctuary time at the end is a great quiet and recentering moment that we often do not take on our own time. Go check out a class, i highly recommend a Tuesday Morning with Sharon as your coach.
