Sand Canyon Urgent Care

I love this urgent care the lady at the front desk today around 6 pm Latina was super nice and the doctor who assisted me was there to listen.

I came in for a sports injury with my knee. The doctor and nurse were efficient, kind, and thorough. However, the admin staff is why I docked a star. I called twice to follow up on my MRI order with Jenny to see if they could order it or if I would have to go to an orthopedic for it. Jenny never called me back and I even came in five days after the initial call to talk to someone and they were unaware of it.

I went in today and was tested very quickly, my dr was amazing and patient with me. I had a great experience. I appreciated their promptness and professionalism.

Great provider. We came in for a COVID test and they had multiple options to choose from. They were quick and to the point.

! PSA: DR. Thomas K Ryu is very RUDE and CONDESCENDING!

This doctor is VERY RUDE! He was handling my workers comp follow up. He was suppose to examine me but instead DR. Thomas started asking questions unrelated to the examination. He even asked me “ why would i seek legal counsel for my workers comp”

After i gave him my answers he started being CONDESCENDING towards me. He got mad at the fact that my conditions have not been improving and tried to interrogate me trying to imply that he didn't believe me.

After this doctor interrogated me he didn't even do the examination.

I have always been respectful to doctors but i have never felt so INSULTED in my life!

Extremely friendly and knowledgable doctors and staff at Sand Canyon Urgent Care. The Irvine location. Parking is very easy and the office is super clean. They are taking great COVID precautions as well.

This will definitely be my go to clinic from now on!

Once they found out about my daughter major boo-boo they took us into auchy exam (triage) immediately, skipping the line. Amazing service. It turned out to be nothing and we where out in under 10min!

The staff at the Irvine location are kind, patient, and warm. During my visit today I said I was a little overwhelmed and anxious and was truly touched by the kindness they showed me. Going to urgent care is never fun but this place is about as close as you can get.

I called them before I head to the clinic today if I do need to set an appointment and they said I can do walk in but then I waited for almost 2 hours just to get the hepa b vaccine done!

Quick wait every time I visited. Doctor encounter was quick yet super effective. He remembered I was there recently with similar symptoms. Discuss why I might be sick again and discuss how to prevent from getting sick again. I got my meds right there at a reasonable price.

I was ordered back to work despite swelling, severe bruising & pain. I'm risking reinjury or permanent damage. The agenda here is not in the best interest of patients. It's workers comp agenda. Disappointing.

Nice Staff was worrying about the waiting when we got here. But with only One Doctor working makes sense. Doctor seems nice. Hopefully be out soon

The ladies at the front are great. Always greet me with a smile. I’m usually in and out in no time. Thanks for always making my visit enjoyable and easy.

Doctor Lee is great! This is where you go to get it done! Walk away and feel like a new person.

Friendly and competent staff, clean facility. After filling out paper work, I waited about 15 min, then saw a Physician’s Assistant (not a doctor). Total wait time was about 30 min for walking in. You can make appointments. I was in and out within about an hour for a relatively minor medical issue.

There’s no “Urgent Care” sign on the building so just follow the parking lot signs that say “Urgent Care”. They will direct you to a parking lot loop on an elevated platform next to the correct building. It will be inside the “Irvine Center Medical Plaza” one. First door on left if I remember correctly.

My daughter needs a work related drug screen and TB test. We’ve been here 75 minutes and not one person has been called back.

Good place only down time is the wait but they had a lot of staff and took my issues seriously how ever they claim they don’t make appointments but many people came in and said they had appointments and still had to wait 30-45 min make sure you give your self 2 hours. Otherwise go to the ER

I have had a few amazing experiences at Sand Canyon. Staff is always courteous, and I feel like I’m not just another patient. The team there takes the time to really understand what is going on, and provides helpful solutions. Dr Ryu is outstanding! I would definitely recommend using Sand Canyon Urgent Care if you ever find yourself in need of prompt medical attention.
