Sandy's Deli & Bakery reviews
15Drive, fly walk if you can for their sandwiches. Hot pastrami and California sandwiches are so delicious that one order won't be enough.
Food was ok, too bad the young woman taking orders couldn't be bothered to stop playing with her phone when she was halfway talking to us
The sandwiches, juices, and dessert here are incredible. They have an amazing team who work really hard. Make sure to stop by and grab a sandwich to go. Then stop at the nearest coastal park to enjoy your food with an amazing view of the ocean.
Went today and wanted a fresh juiced that was on the menu, the girl taking the order said she wasn't making juices, then I asked for a lemonade on the menu, she said again they didn't have lemonade? So I didn't ask for anything else and left.
It's not really a deli, in my opinion. The small selection of sandwiches and no potato salad or Cole Slaw and everything else that makes up what I call a deli is missing. Not even a pastrami on Rye. The sandwiche I bought was fine it was a beef dip.
Turkey Club is disappointing. Sprouts and other things turn it into something merging unintelligible
Love it, sandwiches are great. We got a traveling sandwich the day before we left for return trip. Outstanding. The patio is welcoming for our dogs.
A very nice place to have lunch. Order your meal at the counter and take it to your table. Very casual and above average.
We stopped in for lunch at Sandy's Deli while passing through in June, 2023. First things we noticed were that parking was a little tight. Not drastically so, but tight in the parking area. There were some spots on the road as well.
There were also multiple entrances and multiple seating areas. One inside and another outside. The deli itself is kind of small with employees bussing around like busy bees. But they seemed to be efficient. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and drinks. We paid the bill and had a seat with our drinks. The sandwiches came out delivered to our table shortly after.
The sandwiches were good. Quite honestly we've had a lot better. But, these were quite good. And since we haven't had a decent sandwich in a while, these probably seemed even better than they should have. There's something about the rolls back east. And brands of meat and such can make a difference. But yes the sandwiches we had at Sandy's were quite good.
Although I will say that the price of our lunch seemed a little bit on the high side for what we had. But to be fair, most things now a days seem higher than they should be. So the price is probably reasonable considering the area we were in.
We washed our hands before we left. But that required retrieving a key to the restroom from the cash register. The note said it was to conserve water. More than likely it's to keep folks from Route 1, wanting the deli to be a public restroom. Understandably, it does take time and money to keep a restroom clean and orderly.
All in all, I found Sandy's to be an oasis for us. We have wanted a sandwich for weeks now. But we found it hard to find a deli unless we really searched. So seeing Sandy's from Route 1 was a god send. Although we didn't find Sandy's perfect. We still thought it was quite good and recommend them.
8$ milkshake, no coffee was served even though they have a coffee machine, meeeh. And staff was not friendly at all
I have only tried the sandwiches here and man! Those are some of not the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life! They are so stacked and so good and the prices are. Next time I go I’ll be sure to try something from the bakery but those sandwiches are killer!
Super delicious sandwiches and coffee! Friendly staff who gave great recommendations. The croissant and cinnamon rolls we ate were very tasty as well.
Awesome sandwiches in adorable little town. Very old school…little run down…but delicious food.
No joke delicious sammiches. Smoothies that are better than any smoothie you had before. Plenty of room for a few families to eat together. And a parking lot. Wowowowow.
Sandwiches and smoothies were great. We came here multiple times during our Cambria trip. The last day, we came in 5 minutes before closing (they close at 4pm) and they were kind enough to take our order so we could have sandwiches for the road on our way out of town.
