Santa Barbara Airport reviews
13Friendly desk crew (Southwest) TSA agents and gate staff. We had a very easy experience this weekend leading up to Thanksgiving! Very pleasant trip.
Close to the terminal entrance (across the street) parking for short-term. I went on a holiday weekend and got the last spot. The terminal is clean and beautiful, as is the restroom. It's never crowded and i will always pay more to fly in and out of here rather than LAX!
OK except for airport emergency 5 minutes before boarding time. We were evacuated from airport and got to go through security again. Also would like to see larger rental car return area.
Granting that I've only flown out twice and both times before dawn, I found this airport to be well run. Staff were polite, everything moved quickly, and the whole exlerience was as smooth and stress-free as I could have wished. Within the confines of early morning experiences, I can highly recommend flying from here.
It's a beautiful airport and if you are early (more than 1 hour) for your flights it's easy. Please plan on being there at least an hour and half prior, more flights mean more traffic, longer lines at check.in and security and less parking. Check your flight info 24 hours ahead, know the requirements for your destination.
Quaint airport. Staff is pleasant, security relatively quick, only complaint is available food/beverage have shorter hours. Overall, love this airport and will use vs LA anytime we can.
Great airport! Quick in and out times. Southwest get in lines was disorganized. They called in blocks of 15 ppl. Hard to tell who was in line or not. Sucked.my A 30 seat turned into a A 45 line up. Too crowded to telm who was in line, not a good set up.
Nice smaller airport. Air conditioning was a little too cold for me. But others will probably like it. Only 1 smaller type restaurant so lines to get in are long. Easy to get through, much easier than larger airports. Pleasant
Very compact and clean airport. The staff is polite and friendly. Wi-Fi is very fast and there are many places where you can charge your phone or laptop. There is no manual baggage claim, I think due to the number of flights.
Santa Barbara has it all. Great beaches, great restaurants, lots of people from all walks of life, good culture. A very pleasant place to spend a few hours, a few days, take a vacation to or put down roots.
Busy and efficient. Too bad the Coffee kiosk is gone.
All the foods & beverages are available AFTER you go through security.
Visited friends in Camarillo. This is the easiest, friendliest and worry free airport that I have been in and out of. This has to be the ideal airport for those traveling to the Northern LA área.
Grew up in SB. Remember the airport as very small but not without charm. And the location, beautiful. Left SB for quite awhile and come back to a second story, jet ways oh my what a change. Still, not without charm. Only one gripe. The airport can get quite busy and there is only one eatery. Anyway to see if there is a way to fit in another restaurant or such?
