Santa Barbara Aquatics, Goleta CA

This place is a joke. I went in their shop with my gf to see if we can get her certified before we go on our trip, not only was it like pulling teeth to get any information out of them but the instructor was a total a**hole. If you want to get certified trust me do it somewhere else or do it on your vacation you will be much happier.

Santa Barbara Aquatics provides first class service; they have very knowledgeable personnel they can teach SCUBA classes in house throughout the year there's a swimming pool in the back of the building.
The SCUBA instructors are by far the best in the world.

I'm a scuba diver and go diving with them and would go anytime over and over again.

This shop is an embarrassment. Went in for dive weights, they 'forgot to order them' and wouldn't have another shipment until a month later. Waste of time.

Don't count on these guys for anything. Staff is.well, less than reliable. They'll charge you a C. O. D.charge for orders.even if you pay in advance. You can mail-order from dive shops in LA for cheaper. People around town literally dread having to go here. Owner doesn't seem to care about the shop.

I don't know what these guys below are talking about. This place is great! They are knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. I am a novice diver and they explained everything.they also offered a lot of discounts.also dive training here is the cheapest in town and they offer fun scuba trips to the islands after you are completed with training.
