We are so grateful for Ronit! She was flexible with our crazy schedule right off the bat and wanted to make sure we had a time when our whole family could learn (together) how to better support and train our pups. She instantly commanded respect and attention from our pups in a nurturing way and made us want to learn how to be better owners. We re-learned how to walk our dogs properly and reestablish our home as ours (not theirs!) I am so grateful for all of the tools she was able to put in our toolbox to be better and responsible pet owners. We now walk our dogs with confidence and feel good about leaving our front door open without the little one darting out the door. We practice the techniques frequently so they remember who is in charge. We have a 12-year-old dog and a 2-year-old rescue and she was able to work with both dogs simultaneously making huge improvements. I highly recommend Ronit and look forward to using her again should we have any issues that may pop up again.

Wow! Ronit is truly a dog whisperer. We worked with her and both of our dogs on unacceptable behaviors, including fear of children, aggressive behavior toward people who knock on the door, and leash walking. Ronit was very patient and knowledgeable as we worked to correct their (and our) behavior. In only 2 hours of training over a 2 week period, all our objectives were achieved! She is very easy to work with and achieves incredible results in a very short period of time.

Ronit has a beautiful, calm, clear energy and amazing ability to communicate both verbally and non verbally with both dogs and people. She is a pleasure to work with and makes a huge difference. We were having difficulties teaching our young puppy basic obedience like “come” and “stay” and he was starting to get a little unruly. From the moment Ronit arrived, she had our puppy’s attention and brought out his best qualities and natural desire to “work” and obey commands happily and with ease. She taught us to relate with him in the same way and we’ve had a total shift for the better. When it came time to introduce the leash, within minutes she had us and him walking pleasurably together, with no pulling, on a relaxed leash. Our enjoyment of our new puppy and developing relationship with this dog who will be in our life for a long time has a solid foundation and has been greatly enhanced by the time we spent with Ronit.

Ronit was very kind and super helpful in showing me how to best communicate to my dogs, both of which are terriers. Ronit helped me to understand how to be a good master and take lead with a calmer disposition and a place of power which the dogs received very well and it works wonderfully!

Ronit quickly diagnosed what was causing our puppy to get aggressive with other dogs, and worked with us to correct that behavior. She was kind, knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. She knows what she is doing.

Best dog trainer, ever! Well, really she is a people trainer. Ronit was patient, relaxed and very encouraging during our training session. We contacted Ronit for help when our six year old Shih-tzu started marking inside the house. I was a little reluctant to work with a trainer, as I was concerned that they would “crush the spirit” of our super happy and energetic little boy. I could not have been more wrong. Ronit has such a calming and positive energy and really understood that we consider our dog a family member. She came to our home and was able to provide us with simple, effective tips to give our little guy the structure that he was apparently craving. After only two sessions with her, our dog was walking calmly on a leash (and not trying to lead/pull), coming when called, no longer jumping on guests who came to our door, and sitting on his mat (until released) while we have meals, instead of begging at our feet. Most importantly though, the peeing stopped! Ronit was such a pleasure to work with that were a little sad our dog didn’t have more issues so that we could work with her longer!

Training our dogs with Ronit by our side was a great experience. As soon as she saw an issue that needs correcting, she was there to let us know what needs to be done. In communicating with us and our dogs, she was professional, amiable, and caring. We could tell that success in training them properly was her main concern, and one that will not take away the love and affection we have for the furry members of our family.

Ronit was very helpful with getting our golden retriever Joey on the right track with our training protocols. As first dog owners we did not know a lot when getting started and she really gave us great instruction on the proper way to get Joey behaving how we wanted. Ronit was always available for any questions or concerns outside of our paid class time and was open and honest with us at all times. We were skeptical on paying for a one-on-one trainer and Ronit proved it was the best money we could have spent. We feel much more prepared to move forward with our pup and her advice will continue to help us keep him well trained for his lifetime. Ronit was awesome, we have a golden retriever who is as sweet as he can be but has had bad trainers (me) she not only explained how to train him she helped us understand why he does some of the stuff he does. We saw Ronit twice and we already are off the leash, socializing with dogs and walking without pulling.

Really enjoyed meeting with Ronit, who instilled confidence when interacting with my dog. Although we only had one meeting, it was enough for her to impart some great lessons on how to lead my dog and deal with her reactivity towards other dogs. I would highly recommend working with Ronit.

We loved Ronit. She was amazing. Our 10 year old Maltese (who acts like a 3 year old) responded to her so well and we saw immediate improvement.
We were shocked at the improved results after only one training session.

Ronit taught us how to control Sofi’s barking, she helped us in letting Sofi be around a multitude of different dogs without becoming aggressive and, we were even able to take Sofi in an open meadow off leash without her running away. Ronit was very interested in Sofi’s progress and she taught us how to reduce her anxiety so that one of us leaving the car with Sofi and the other behind did not escalate into a barking nightmare.

We would highly recommend Ronit to everyone. This was a wonderful investment in our enjoying our Sofi without the previous behavior issues.

We rescued a cute little dog named Cooper in December. As With many rescue dogs you never know what you were going to get. Since we have had Ronit as our dog trainer, Cooper has completely turned into a different dog. We have had for training lessons with her and Cooper has learned so much. It absolutely amazes my parents and I how she can change Cooper around in a matter of an hour. She is the best most personable, friendly, reliable, caring and professional dog trainer! I highly recommend her to anyone that needs any sort of dog training. If she can train Cooper she can train anyone. We are so lucky to have her and thank you so much Ronit

Ronit really is a Dog Whisperer. My husband & I have a two American Eskimo 12 month old brothers, Orlando & Oliver. We were supposed to get them when they were 10 weeks, but because of Covid lockdown we were not able to get them till they were 5 months old, as they were in another state. Sadly, they were kept in an outside kennel the whole time & were never socialized, so they were akin to wild animals when we received them. It was almost impossible for us to control them. They were fearful of everyone & everything. Ronit was amazing. I'd say within 15 minutes, the boys were calm and listening. She worked with us to learn how to change our energy & how to become the pack leader. She was calming & incredibly helpful. Every time she worked with us, the boys got better. We are all still a work in progress, but we have hope with Ronit's help & direction. We love our boys so much & want them to have the best life possible & the only way that can happen is with training. Thank you Ronit!

We have a 6-month old female Labradoodle (Carly) that had a few “bad” habits … like jumping up on people and acting crazy on her leash when we went on walks.

Ronit, the Santa Barbara Dog Whisperer, worked with Carly for one session and showed us how to be in control of our puppy. From the minute Ronit entered our house (and whispered something?) Carly was listening, behaving and obeying commands. It was like magic! It used to be stressful to go on walks, but now it’s fun and something we actually look forward to.

Our experience with Ronit has been first-rate. She is highly knowledgeable about dogs, and quickly able to assess the issues with each specific dog. She is kind, clear, and extremely helpful in her training advice, and fun to work with. After the first 1-hour session with her, we were able to change our approach, and therefore our dog's most troublesome behaviors (barking constantly at the front fence, not obeying consistently, and pulling terribly on the leash - all this stopped). After three visits, we now also know how to handle him off leash. Amazing. Thank you Ronit!
