Excellent visit. Raquel, Dr. Kovacs's PA, was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and helpful.

This was my mother's first visit to see doctor Kovacs. Upon leaving the appointment she expressed how she felt very comfortable at her appointment. She said the doctor was friendly, courteous, made her feel very comfortable. The office staff was very nice as well. She was excited to have been referred to this doctor.

This was my first consultation with Dr. Aguirre. He was kind, listened and was hopeful about a plan to get me feeling better. I have a myriad of issues, and I appreciated him taking the time to listen and show empathy. I found his staff also to be very friendly.

Dr. Brent J. Kovacs is a terrific gastroentorologist. I have had a good experience at every appointment or procedure. I also like that he has good and pleasant bedside manners, as well as a sense of humor. I highly recommend him.

Rachael PA was very knowledgable and helpful with my situation. The staff were efficient. Good office experience.
One suggestion is to have the electronic required history sent to me done at least 48 hours ahead and not after 7 pm the night before a 10am appointment. It took me 40 minutes to complete. I easily could have not seen this and not had enough time to complete it. I would much rather. Do this lengthy electronic required history at home and not sit in the office.

The office professionals were friendly and my appointment was on time. Rachel C, the PA I met with, listened and offered good suggestions to zero in on resolving my digestive issue. I'm looking forward to a follow-up with her, if I need one.

Rachel was amazing and explained the procedure throughly. She answered all my questions and I honestly don’t feel nervous about it anymore.

I found Dr. Kozak to be warm and helpful in dealing with my symptoms, while moving a bit quicker (just minutes) than I would prefer (knowing that many in the industry are pressed to spend little time with each patient).

I would have liked for the assistant who brought me into the dr's room to have been a bit warmer and a more attentive listener. Again, I understand the pace of much modern medicine, but this was not only quick, but left a less than pleasant feeling.thank you for asking and considering my feedback, David

I see Rachel at this facility and she is wonderful. She explains things very well and has greatly helped me with my issues.

Dr. Kovacs is an excellent physician. At the first visit he listened carefully to me, asked a number of questions, did an exam, and recommended an endoscopy. He described the procedure is some detail using illustrations so I knew what to expect. The staff members that prepare you for the procedure are very systematic and create a calming atmosphere. The procedure was a walk in the park, and he corrected my primary problem with swallowing during the process. They actually hand you a copy of the results with explanations before you leave.

I saw Rachel Catavenis for the 30 day follow up. The procedure revealed additional issues, so I had a lot of questions. She patiently explained everything is some detail, which is very reassuring. Both she and Kovacs are also quite personable and a real pleasure to deal with. I recommend this practice without reservation.

Be advised that this practice is booked pretty far out, so it takes a new patient some time to get seen.

Dr. Aguirre is the best. He honestly cares about his patients and working with them to feel better. I don't live in Santa Barbara, but I still travel to see him. He is great about telehealth when I can't travel. Highly recommend!

I saw Rachel who is the PA. She explained the options for Colen cancer screening was willing to answer any questions we had.

Rachel Cavenetis was incredibly helpful and super prepared, had a whole regimen ready for me to spare me future trials and tribulations. I’m very impressed with her and the staff.
