My mother in law recently came across some antique silverware that belonged to her great aunt. I deal with some vintage pretty regularly but silver and flatware are out of my realm, so I made sure I did my research on the best place to take it before coming here. I don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews. I felt immediately misjudged as soon as I walked in the door, as if they’ve never done business with anybody with tattoos before. I didn’t know much about what I brought in, if it was sterling silver or silver plated but it was really old and we thought it could be worth something.

As soon as he began looking at it, he said “Your mother in law has cheap flatware”. He proceeded to call in “junk” and “garbage” multiple times as he went on looking at it. He even went on to say it belonged in the trash. When he was finished looking I tried to ask him if it was silver plated, just trying to understand what it was, and all he did was say insulting things again. It would have been SO simple to just tell me it wasn’t worth anything. I felt extremely uncomfortable and the woman who works there just weirdly stared at me the whole time. 0/10
