Santa Barbara Succulents Organic Nursery and Education reviews
3 Very knowledgeable “succulent guy!
Thanks buddy ally into his unique plants, spent a lot of time with me! His is the one of the h beautiful beautiful plants I purchased from him! Also found him on Nextdoor. Will return to purchase more unique plants!
I recently had the pleasure of finding this little gem on Craigslist. It's a small backyard style nursery with a good selection of Agaves, Euphorbias, Cacti and Aloes along with other more rare and really unique and smaller succulents some of which I had never seen before. I ended up buying quite a few plants and what really made this worth leaving a review was the fact that Yenz (Sorry i'm not sure how it is spelled but it's German) spent over an hour and a half with me explaining plant care, and just answering every question i had from general gardening tips to mushroom cultivation to organic gardening with super useful info. Truly a green thumb, i could tell he was really doing thinks organically from the piles of compost to homemade fermented fertilizers etc vs that pesticide smell at a lot of nurseries which inspired me to buy some compost worms too. Even his veggy garden was thriving with fat tomatoes and peppers everywhere. Whether you want to pick up some new plants for your yard or just look around and chat, he will surely spark up a good conversation rather than just trying to sell you something the whole time. Yens, If you read this, ill be back for that other Aloe soon!
Awesome seller. Great selection in his 5 star Etsy shop which i believe is called Colorful Succulents, where he carries selection of both classics and unusual to hard to find species that you cant get at every other nursery. Have purchased a few species i couldn't find anywhere else, and the y all showed up in excellent shape, packaged with care and having owned several e-eCommerce stores myself, I'm picky when it comes to packaging. He even tracked one down for me and did a custom order for it! He runs an etsy shop and has people swing by by appointment to his little backyard nursery.
