Great little RV park in town. First spot #30 we got on the first day was so tight we just parked our cars around the neighborhood to give us extra room to hang out outside. It was tricky trying to hitch up while other cars were driving through. We still made it work and had a great time.

The next morning we moved over to #1 and man did we get lucky! This one was right in front of the office but great because it was spacious and we were only next to one other rig. The people were so nice there and their restrooms and laundry rooms were spotless. Piping hot water so be careful.

Definitely noisy on this site because it was right next to the freeway but we played music and white noise so we were fine.

This isn’t a RV resort or nor do they claim to be but it’s right in town and there so much to do around. It’s a close bike ride to the beach and restaurants. We rode bikes to the beach to watch the sunset and it was a beautiful evening.

We drove one day to Gaviotta Beach and had a great hiking adventure.

My kids also did distance learning using their wifi and had zero problems. We streamed movies and it made for a nice little getaway. Clean, nicest people who run this place.we’ll definitely be back.

DO NOT STAY HERE! One of the employees threatened to assault me! Spoke with a male I believe his named Terry. We were trying to reroute and escape the northern fires. I called 24 hours ahead and explained Highway 1 was closed down and we could not get down there because we had to reroute and asked what my options were considering the circumstances. He went ahead canceled the spot.charged the card for the full night and then hung up. I called back asking about the policy considering the circumstances and commenting on his overall customer service attitude and he told if I did not like his attitude I could come down and say it to his face.not sure what owner would ever employee someone who wants to fight potential guests? There are so many RV parks and cool sites in Santa Barbara.do yourself a favor and find one of those!

I always enjoy Pier 39. Whether it is daytime or evening, so many yummy aromas of food and sounds of joy. There are fun novelty shops. I enjoyed conversations with two friendly shopkeepers on my last visit. The lights at night are fun and festive. I visited during Fleet Week and a great guest band was performing. The place looks clean and family friendly to me. I did pick up my check in offer- a coupon book at the visitor center.

Stayed at Sunrise RV for 19 nights in June 2020. It's a very well-maintained park in an excellent location for exploring Santa Barbara on foot or by bike. Location is right in town so it has more of an urban feel than something like a state park. Restrooms and laundry facilities were always clean and fully functional. The owners are super helpful and attentive.

Very basic suburban RV park.
Positives: near downtown SB and beachfront.
Negatives: small narrow site; RVs fairly close together; no fire pit allowed; adjacent to freeway so be prepared for the vehicle noise.
Was a quick overnight stay for us which worked because of the location. Never got to meet the owner/ manager but she was friendly and obliging on the phone.

My husband and I really enjoyed our week there. Place is easy to find. Nice managers. We just got a new trailer, so they gave us a place to easily drive in and out of. Plus, they gave us tips where to eat, etc. Ok, there's some freeway noise, but otherwise a good place to access downtown from.

Small office. Near freeway so it was a little loud. Bathrooms were heated and clean. Will stay there again.

Pros: closest site to town (30 minute walk), private showers and toilets, clean, friendly staff

Cons: VERY noisy from the freeway 24/7, toilets were too warm inside (didn't help the smell), not the safest walk into town - do not do at night

The owners are very sweet and helpful. Good layout of the park. Highway is right behind the wall, but it saves the commute and the ocean is so close that it's a minor inconvenience.

Very handy location for visiting downtown Santa Barbara. But next to the freeway and very close quarters for RVs.

Nice friendly people and a spotlessly clean campground. It's a little closer to the freeway thank is like, but it's also very close to downtown Santa Barbara. We'd stay here again.

The staff was really nice and helpful, but it’s right up against the free way and it is really LOUD! And our spot was right up agains the trash cans and they empty them at 5 am.but it easy to find and the spots are nice and clean.

So clean and easy on and off the freeway. The owner is super helpful to ensure you’re in the right spot for your rig length. 2nd year going here. I’m sure I’ll be back.

Made a reservation on line and got no response for three days. We made other plans and got charged anyway. So much for mom and pop being honest. These people are crooks.

Not a real nice place. The only thing about this place thats good is its proximity to town. Otherwise the spaces are hardley enough to fit a rig with No slidouts.

We stayed here for 3 nights to visit Santa Barbara. It is a small space, however the management went over and above to accommodate our stay. Welcoming and helpful staff, clean restrooms and laundry. It is convenient to rte 101, hence you can here the traffic. However, it is well maintained and we would stay here again. We visited in a 30 ft fifth wheel, had no problems with our slides, etc.

This was our virgin trip in our new Airstream, staff was great at helping in and out of very tight parking. No much to do in the camp ground, but thats ok we came to go to see the sights anyway.

Ok for a quick weekend getaway!

Yes it’s right next to the freeway but the kind staff, very clean restrooms and showers will bring me back. I love that I don’t have to stand in a tiny shower stall and maneuver getting dressed in one of those sticky gross changing stalls. It’s great that they have a hook for everything I want to hang up to keep off the floor. There’s also very fast Internet.
