Santa Cruz Rehearsal Studios reviews
10This place is a godsend. Great rooms at super reasonable prices. Their equipment rentals are awesome too and super cheap. I drive up from Monterey, 1 hour each way, Once or twice a week.
10/10 jam session location, good prices for rentals and the room comes with a speaker system and amps. They also have everything (sticks, cymbals, pedal, water bottles etc) to buy whenever I forget to bring things.
Long live Santa Cruz Rehearsal Studios
Rad spot with great prices. It’s a fantastic resource in Santa Cruz.
I only wish the rooms had bass traps in the corners.
Very cool to have a place local to have band practice staff is cool location is clean very nicely built.
Staff are a bunch of judgemental people who are looking to make sure they make you feel bad for who you are wow i thought musicians were not that kind of people
A rehearsal studios sticks to their word oh, and this place delivers. Backline gear included.
Good working equipment. For guitar, I was able to use an Orange head and large speaker cab. Bass head used a tower speaker cab as well! Drums sound great.
Needed a last minute spot on a Sunday after lunch. SCRS came thru with a 2pm-4pm. Backline with keys all set up.
Very clean and following guidelines, well maintained facility.
Price is right. Everything totaled about $50.plus you should tip.
Santa Cruz rehearsal studios is an awesome place to practice Paul is a great guy very accommodating
All the gear is very nice. And they have a nice rental system. The pa kept cutting out but that was due to us having to much volume coming thru it. THAT SAID the rooms are very strangely laid out to have any kind of volume control. All the rooms that I've seen are long hallways that have the amps semi randomly placed. And then the drums on one side of them room and the pas on both sides of the room. So all the sound is kind of scattershot. You can move the amps to the opposite side of the room if you want which helps alot to keep the volume lower and not have issues. We also had the rental mic cables be a bit wonkey a few times
Overall a good practice spot
