Santa Fe Dam Nature Center reviews
6 Had a problem with arson back in the brush for a while. But there's not much left to burn now. So they just put up signs forbidding access. Probably the intent of the arson terrorists who started the fires.
Nice work if you can get a job of one of the ones sitting all day in the white park trucks parked in the shade all day collecting tax payer's money.
Bring gas masks for the kiddies in case one of the man who frequent the park starting when entry is free opens their cannabis smoke filled windows upwind. Unless you want your kids dosed with cannabis smoke.
In all the many times I've entered the park, I have hever seen one fish caught in the cement pond with fake, electric pump activated stream entering it when it's not broken.
Otherwise it can be a nice place to relax away from the surrounding gang infested area. But it's about to get worse when they wave entry fee beginning in October. Almost no one is willing to actually pay to enter here.
I loved this place. The water was warm, though when you got deeper, it got colder. It isn't too deep. You are allowed to bring dogs, but you're supposed to be carrying them. There is a lot of space. You can go boating canoeing and kayaking. There was this lady selling puppies, too. My family brought one.
The signs are inaccurate and the landscaper's planting invasive species. People also throw junk everywhere and apparently the center's too understaffed to clean up the trash.
The unmanaged parts have some nice biodiversity though.
Beautiful nature place, I loved, is good for joining with family and friends.
One of our rest stops while on a cycling ride. The garden has come a long way and it’s a sight to see and enjoy. The Nature Office itself is only open on weekends but the drinking fountain is finally in working condition to refill. I like the little bridge connecting the different walkways there
