I called about a truck and they told me that all trucks have a $5000 mark up.then the next morning (today) someone calls me with a fallow up and tells me all trucks have a $7500 mark up.probable going to call me tomorrow and tell me its a $10,000 mark up.haha this is the only local dodge dealer marking up truck over MSRP.everyone else is at or below don't go here

Helpful when looking for a vehicle, but insanely expensive dealer fees are added to purchase and after you but a vehicle it’s hard to get help or hear back from anyone

****Updated Review***** The Service Manager, Mr. Michael Jordan, reached out to me and discussed my issue. He went above and beyond to take care of me beyond what I expected. I appreciate his willingness to go the extra mile for me and it speaks to his character and the way he does business. I can say with confidence that I would recommend him and his service team to work on my vehicle and treat their customers fairly.

Had to have my car towed here after the parking brake went out. Then, once they had it, the battery mysteriously died. Then, after telling them what was broken and them telling me how much the part would be, they had to "diagnose" it. Then, after diagnosing the mysterious parking brake and battery, they said it would be done by next Friday (it was Tuesday of the previous week). Friday came and went, Monday was a holiday, and Tuesday I called to find out what was going on. They apparently lost the part and just found it, so it would be ready by either the end of the day or the next morning by 10 am "at latest". Noon the next day rolls around and they finally call to let me know it's done. $758 for a battery replacement and a parking brake lever after over a month since the brake broke.

Now add in that trying to call to get a hold of someone resulted in me getting their voicemail over and over and OVER again. I will never go here again.

PS. They left disgusting handprints all over the inside of the car. Pictures included.

I received a call from the manager a day or two after I left the post below. Michael asked if I could be made whole after my visit to SM Chrysler. Several times I explained I didn't think it was possible. After talking back and forth Michael said how about we ie SM Chrysler pay for the work I had to have done in Winnimuca. I thought it through and said that will change my rating. Because we all make mistakes and only a few of us are willing to fix the mistake after the customer is gone. I still think some changes need to be made. Buda? Still needs to communicate better what I said to the person doing the work. After the work was done I should have been shown the bad turbo. And why it needed to be replaced. If indeed there was no low manifold pressure in the permanent memory I should have been shown that as well. But they made it right and that speaks volumes about their business.

I have a 2013 3500 ram. I was having trouble driving from Idaho to California. I purchased a code reader. It said that I had low pressure at the rail. I went in and asked Buddha who is the service writer. To look into this for me. I need to stop here and say that Buddha went way out of his way to fit me in. I was from out of town and needed to get my truck running I would give them a five for this. The problem is the downside outweighs the upside. He called me the next day and said that they're diagnosis was the turbo. And that it would cost me I think around 4 grand to fix. I said what choice do I have do what you have to do. I needed to get back to Idaho and was willing to pay whatever it took. They did the work got the truck back to me seem to be working fine. I left California headed for Idaho. Started having trouble about 2 hours later. I managed to limp all the way to winnemucca. When the truck quit broke down in the middle of the road. I managed to contact the mechanic and winnemucca. And sure enough the problem was the fuel pump. Maybe the turbo is bad maybe it wasn't. But I guarantee you that I believe Santa Maria Chrysler did not diagnose my truck correctly.

Kelsey was awesome. She fulfilled all my needs and was there to help me with great customer service and with all my questions I had. She helped me trade in my new car I just got from another dealership that I wasn’t totally in love with. She got me in my dream car. With no hassle at all. I love my new car! Just purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from these guys a few days ago, and I am absolutely in Love with it! This was the second dealership that I went to that day and it was such a better experience than the first. There was a nice comfortable feel and they had lots of refreshments wich really helped with my littles. Jeff was awsome! He wasn't pushy at all like the others and was really knowledgeable about each of the vehicles that he showed us. He was able to get us a deal that worked perfect for our needs I will definitely be referring him to anyone who's looking to get into a beauty.

Got a message that my car had an issue and required dealer service and would not restart in 100 miles. This was on July 2nd and I live 4 hours away from Santa Maria. I called Santa Maria service and explained the situation and the service tech said he could get me in July 12th. I asked if he could maybe squeeze me in to at least take a look since I don’t live here and now can’t drive my car and he said no. So had to rent a car to go home, come back on the 9th (another tech had a opening on the 9th) to take my car in, found out it was a recall issue that the car had been in twice already for and needed to order parts that would e in Monday. Parts came in Monday but after they worked in it for two days found out they had to order another part so one more day for that to come in. The repair was free but out $1,000 on car rental. This on top of the first time it broke down for this issue we were in Texas and had to do a one way rental home then a plane ticket to pick it up. So this free repair was also expensive. This wasn’t Santa Maria’s issue but stay away from Jeep Cherokee.

, The service department is a mess; unprofessional. Please take your business elsewhere. I told them my check engine light. They said that they would charge me $166 to just look at the car check engine light please do not come here. Not to mention how rude the young lady was in the service department. Run
