Santa Monica Pier reviews
17Soooo crowded, almost not worth it, the ferris wheel was pretty cool dough, and the kids really enjoyed the views of the ocean from the pier.
A great place to have a family time with lots of entertainment to do you always find something good to eat and drink
Great experience.clean beach, lot of rides on the pier (if you are interested). Paid parking is available.
All you have to do is bring yourself to the pier and you'll find everything there; from 'food and drink' to a carnival and souvenirs! Lots of fun!
Abends wirklich schön, lohnt sich immer dort einen Besuch abzustatten. Trotzdem sind die Preise teilweise zu hoch.
Nothing really special, it just a pier with some shops and attractions. Everything was clean and tidy tho.
Picturesque.
That is how to describe the beautiful Santa Monica Pier that brings about visions of a movie scene.
Weather is beautiful all year round and the fun never seems to stop (even if rains there are other forms of fun for the adventurous)
Pacific Park is a beautiful fun fair that brings an air of nostalgia to our time and neon signs and good old games at the park makes it a fun filled place to not miss!
It's nice, little overpriced and crouded for my taste but the view from the ferris wheel is really nice. It's nice to go to see even if you don't go on anything and since it's free to be there it would be similar to going to a small amusement park. I do love the frozen custard though, that was my favorite part.
Love it honestly. I was raised in LA so I never really appreciated how beautiful it really is until I moved to Dallas. The beach is a 5-6 hour drive and to go to where the amusement area is you literally have to pay to walk inside even if you don’t plan on getting on the rides. People down by Santa Monica are real fortunate.
We got down to the Beach around 4ish. Did have to pay for parking but wasn't to expensive. We waited for the sunset which was worth the view. If you make it to the pier have a fun time. Plenty rides to ride & good stuff to eat. The price is standard for a fair/carnival these days. But so worth it! The waves crashing was so relaxing & smell so good. Enjoy
It's a beautiful place and it's very funny (with the park)! It's good for family.
Arround there are a lot of shops, restaurants and the beach. My first visit to the pier is a good experience, I recommended this place when you go in California.
One of the best place in California, shop, restaurants and the fair to enjoy the California life style
Beware of all the homeless. And do not take anything from people trying to hand out cd's. Pacific Park is crawling with kids. My husband and I have none so it was a little daunting for us trying to maneuver around them all. Still beautiful views of the ocean and mountains though!
Just wow amazing day and the beach was packed. But wear shoes walking through the sand hot and there is alot of unseen glass and metal under the sand.
One of my absolute favorite places to go visit everytime I go to California. There are always cute little seals hanging out around the pier in the evenings. Its usually chilly that close to the water so bring (or buy in the gift shops) a light hoodie/sweater.
A very recommended place, one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen, it is recommended to come before sundown to buy ice cream and just sit on a bench and enjoy the sunset. There is a little queue of people at the entrance recommended to stay ahead.
Beautiful place and things here were surprisingly reasonably priced. If you’re visiting Los Angeles region then this should be on your sight seeing list. Also, taking the expo line was fine here. Why take a $25 Uber when you can get there quickly for $1.75?
