Santa Rosa Same Day Care

I got here at 10: 30 am on a weekday and it wasn't too busy (3-4 in the waiting room). I overheard the receptionist tell the customers ahead of me in line to expect at least a 90 minute wait which they didn't like so they left. I got seen by a doc in about 20 minutes and it was great. So my advice is not to be discouraged by what you're told regarding wait times.they just don't want customers to get upset if it takes that long.

I’ve been going to Sutter Urgent Care for years now and this service is vital to Santa Rosa’s health care system. The wait times depends on how crowded it is but it’s faster than the ER and only costs as much as a regular visit to the doctor. Everyone there is kind and ready to help. This is my go-to alternative to the doctor’s office.

If you are looking to get any sort of treatment beyond an x-ray from the sutter urgent care, don’t even bother going there. 99% of the time the urgent care will do nothing but send you to the ER because they can’t diagnose or even treat most problems other than a UTI or flu. The ER nurses I spoke with said the majority of calls they get during the day are from urgent care saying they are sending patients over to the ER for them to deal with. It’s confusing because supposedly ER doctors work at the urgent care too. So why cant they diagnose and possibly treat something that is not a life threatening emergency but also can’t wait 2 months to see a normal doctor. Make it make sense Sutter.

Wait time was exactly as I was told by phone and upon arrival, 90 minutes. I brought a book and a tablet. Everyone was very professional, from front desk to assistants to the doctor, who was also very experienced, listened attentively, and answered all my questions. Soooo much better than an ER visit.

Ever person on the staff that I interacted with. From check in to check out, and to X-Ray.the staff was awesome.the Doctor was very helpful and explained in detail.asked if I had any question.

Same Day Care is a most excellent spot to go to —so practical when other doctor’s offices are closed and so practical and competent when they are open. I am always thankful after I have visited and grateful for the fine care I receive.

They got me in and out quickly and addressed my problem. Everyone was friendly and nice. I do not have insurance so it wasn't cheap, but that goes without saying. I will go here again if I need to.

My experience was completely wonderful! Check in was quick and easy, my wait was minimal, and both nurse and physician were caring, professional and provided excellent care and treatment. Everyone I came in contact with from check in to walking out the door was upbeat and it was a positive environment which is important when you have a medical issue. If I could give them 100 stars, I would!

We are new to the area and had to visit Santa Rosa Same Day Care with our two young children who had fallen ill. This was the best experience I’ve ever had with a walk in clinic. VERY friendly staff from the front desk all the way to the Dr.herself. They were very sweet with our girls and knew exactly how to make them comfortable. If we’re ever in a pinch again this is where I’ll come.

Sutter Same Day is located within a larger Sutter campus, so other services are available. I was thrilled to see, and get care by my former personal physician the BEST I'd ever had! This Same Day has typical limitations - *wait time, etc but far more service advantages and expertise than other "urgent care" providers. I am a retired Healthcare Professional (not affiliated with Sutter) with complex disabling factors - so, that's high but accurate praise!

There is also "quality" lodging, a Dept store, and food and fuel within walking distance for "mobile" people. The location is quiet but not remote, the waiting room is spacious, clean and all CoVid precautions are obviously up to date.

The staff are attentive to all levels of care, and areas of concern - I even got help with my online APP!
I met a traveler en route home to South Florida after a cruise to Alaska, who expressed her gratitude for finding great "urgent care" medical facilities in "beautiful scenery with nice comforting people at an unexpected time to be ill in unknown surroundings".

I left after an efficient interaction- with a DX, labs (in building) meds AND surprise reconnect with the brilliant integrative clinician Dr Tabitha Doniach!
