I just had my first massage with Erik and he is a master at what he does! I have a long history of neck pain and by the end of the massage I felt so much relief. He was able to work on specific muscles that many other massage therapists have not been able to reach. He is great with deep tissue work and very professional. I highly recommend booking with Erik.

I can't recommend Erik at Foundation Body Therapy enough! Being a Tradesman, we rely on our body's being ready to go out and make living and Erik is the one that makes sure I can do that day in and day out.any time I'm in need of his services, I leave feeling like a million bucks and ready to face the next work day!

I've seen many massage therapists in my many decades but Erik is BY FAR THE BEST EVER! I've had very locked- up shoulders/scapula/back many times. He makes it all go away every single time. He releases muscles/tendons in a gentle but effective way.

ALSO, he will provide whatever your body needs, from sore, locked-up muscles to the DEEPEST relaxation on earth where you can't move off the table afterward! Few can do both. He listens! He's an amazing human with great energy. The music is 2nd to none.

I can’t speak highly enough about Erik! I refer everyone I know to him, he is kind, knowledgable, and puts so much effort into listening to my needs for each appt. We always talk about what I can do to improve my issues at home, as well as in between appts, therefore feeling confident in my own intervention. I always leave feeling refreshed!

What I have found in Erik, I have only felt with a few other massage Therapy practitioners. He is able to hold space for the unexpected emotionality that can show up on the table. He has learned that he does not have to do anything other than hold space for a human to release toxic emotions, stuck inside their muscles as he works them out, he is safe, he is courteous, and even though we only have a professional relationship, I would call him my friend!

Hands down, Erik Sherwood is one of the best massage therapists I have worked with. He has the ability to quickly determine which areas of the body compensate for other areas and he addresses the underlying source (s) of discomfort very effectively. After every session, I walk out of his office feeling happy, relaxed and MUCH less stressed out. He has become a very important part of my stress-reduction routine and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I have visited several times for trigger point massage and found that he was incredibly intuitive about locating the source of the pain and working it out in a way were I experienced immediate relief. Not only that, but also he was able to advise me about how to work through tight muscles at home with a combination of stretching and self massage. He clearly cares very deeply about what he does and it shows! He has experience working with pregnant clients which was a huge relief for me (literally) after getting turned away from numerous other massage therapists.
