SCAMMMMM. I went as a first time patient. Do not let the fancy technology fool you. They took my x rays and then left me in a FREEZING room for almost an hour. The hygienist, who seemed to be in quite a hurry, came and did her exam. Told me I had pretty bad periodontal disease.at age 28. Also told me I needed a $5,000 cleaning. Left alone again for another 30 minutes. When the doctor came in she was very sweet, but the entire experience seemed very sales driven. I felt like something wasn't right so I looked up the reviews from this place. I found a handful of folks who had the exact same experience as me as far as their diagnosis. And imagine that, I went somewhere else and, like those other folks, I was told that I definitely did not have what this place told me I did. In fact, the hygienist at my new dentist told me that unless they were to use such and such product, which makes them a lot of money, no cleaning should cost that amount of money, especially in my condition. Take the advice of others who have gone before, don't let this place take your insurance money! Total shame that they are out here making money off folks who don't know any better and are concerned for their health.

Had to have 2 hrs of deep cleaning & root planing done. Jessirae, my hygienist, was kind beyond measure as I was very nervous. She took me through each step so that I had little fear of the unknown. She treated me like I was a beloved family member.
A horrible thing to have done but the experience was made bearable due to Jessirae.

The Staff was extremely courteous and professional. My cleaning was painless. I would highly recommend Doctor Ferguson and her staff for any dental work.

Dr. Ortega and staff are awesome. I have been coming here for years and Lina the office manager and staff are always so welcoming. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this office! My hygienist Jeressa made me so comfortable throughout my cleaning and was amazing. Dr. Ortega was wonderful and really cared to address my concerns. I’m no longer afraid to go to the dentist.

This office is AMAZING! Customer service is TOP NOTCH! The Manager Lina is so patient and kind. I was in so much pain and scared. Being my first visit I really didn’t know what to expect. Lina and her INCREDIBLE staff eased my fear & took great care of me.

Upsell! Upsell! Upsell! My wife and I both had recent visits at Santee Smiles. The hygienist told us we needed "root cleaning, deep cleaning, etc, etc. " Then the dentist attempted the hard sell, "If cost is a problem we can do it in stages. " Of course, we declined because the dentist we went to for 20 years never mentioned any of this. Santee Smiles then refused to do the cleaning included with our insurance saying, "We weren't candidates for a cleaning. " Now, we have to pay cash at another dentist since we used up our insurance visit on this place. Stay away!

Absolutely love it here! Today I was with Jessirae and she was as amazing as ever! She’s so friendly, and always takes great care of me. The whole office welcomed me in and calmed all my nerves. Now I never get nervous before going and I’m great at scheduling all my upcoming appointments.

For someone scared of dentists, I would keep going back here. Their kind and walk me through what their doing. The cleaning was great!

Highly recommend Santee Smiles Dentistry. I will be bringing my kids over to this office too. They were patient, thorough and very kind. Nothing like the other experiences we had had in other dentist offices.
