This place is fabulous and the service is great. The pool area is intimate with both sunny and shaded areas. I would highly recommend the site.

My partner and I just spent 6 nights / 7 days at Santiago and enjoyed every second. It was a surprise for me - my first time in Palm Springs and my first time at a clothing-optional men's resort. The staff is remarkable (thanks esp.to Charles, Bob, and Boomer) ; the grounds, pool, and hot tub all kept up immaculately; the room (king suite) lovely and enormous.

But I think what matters most to make this an enjoyable experience is that the vibe is just right:

- With just over 20 rooms, the experience remains intimate even though it always feels like there are just enough people that you can't quite meet everyone, although you absolutely can.

- The clientele is predominantly professionals just looking for a little downtime - many people seemed to be regulars driving in from L. A.or S. D, although we met men from all over the country: Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio, Texas, Oregon, etc.

- Age is the full range, from 20 to 70 something, and there never seemed to be a disconnect for anyone based on age. Body types also ran the range. Some men were naked the entire time; others would often wear speedos or trunks. But most guys were there to enjoy the openness with other men regardless of age or body type.

- Music plays quietly around the pool during the day and mostly encapsulates a chill clubby feeling: gay, relaxed, and sexy, but not too energetic or poppy.

- Food is catered in for breakfast and lunch so that no one has to leave during peak sun time.

- As one would expect, men get frisky and there's plenty of play, although most of the men I met were there with partners or travel companions, as I was. It's not a cruising spot and nothing "happens" if you're not seeking it out, but I found overt sexuality to be celebrated and appreciated - just not required. You do you!

- And finally, booze is not sold or served on the premises (there's no bar), which I think is the key. You can certainly bring it in and drink it by the pool, but lack of bar means no messy drunkenness and an unspoken commitment to keeping the space respectful of all its patrons.

We will be back! The Santiago promises to be a good getaway for years to come.

We originally had booked a different hotel during our stay in Palm Springs but the room was not up to our expectations. Luckily we were able to cancel and by chance, Santiago had a room available last minute.

Once we entered the grounds we knew we made the right decision. The staff is friendly (shout out to Charlie and Boomer) and the grounds are well kept.

The resort was always stocked with fresh towels and the pool is free from clutter as the staff keep an attentive eye. The outdoor shower felt amazing after a dip in the pool and the hammocks were relaxing enough to fall asleep in minutes.

The other guests were friendly and the resort overall has a very chill and relaxing vibe. We made some new friends and even joined them for dinner and drinks outside of the property.

We will definitely be back.

First of all, the place is beautiful. You feel like you're in a desert oasis. The pool area and commons areas are just lovely. I especially loved the outdoor shower. I didn't use the shower in my room once. The outdoor shower was just so nice tucked into the trees. I had a great time and honestly can't wait to go back with my husband.

Santiago is an amazing resort. From the check in, and all of the amenities, our stay was absolutely amazing. Charles, at the front desk, was very hospitable and made us feel very welcome from the start and throughout our stay til check out. We stayed in one of the downstairs pool view rooms and also upstairs. I would definitely recommend upstairs for future reservations. Santiago is such a great place to relax and unwind. It is a perfect safe space that my husband and I were looking for. The staff are all great and accommodating. It was a very hot weekend in Palm Springs, and the staff constantly checked on us, provided us with amenities to keep us cool. The breakfast and lunch were perfect for our lazy vacation. Most of the day, we lounged by the pool, the hot tub & the outdoor shower. Every part of the resort was so clean and well maintained with lots of green space. I can go on and on about how great Santiago is. Highly highly recommended!

My husband and I took our first trip to Palm Spring. Charles and team went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was enjoyable and memorable. Staff were extremely accommodating with food/refreshment options throughout the day. The cantina area with supplies, drinks, and treats is a wonderful amenity. Breakfast and lunch were great. Even with the high August temps, the room was always comfortable. The grounds are a perfect sanctuary for rest and relaxation. The pool and spa are amazing. The greenery throughout the property is well kept and offers plenty of shade (and privacy) from the sun. The lounge chairs and umbrellas are ample. The pool deck is getting a remodel in December. Lastly, we met some amazing singles and couples during our stay. So much so, we booked another trip during Christmas. If you haven't booked your stay at the Santiago, make sure to do so ASAP. Perfect vacation spot.

Wonderful resort! Well kept facilities, very friendly and attentive staff, and our room, wow! Bicycles for guests is one of the many perks available at the resort. The two secluded hammocks I thought were particularly thoughtful.

Every part of my stay at The Santiago Resort was perfect. I really appreciated all of the little details that made my stay special - like unlimited mixers and snacks and the free afternoon poolside lunch!

Guys staying at resort were awesome! As a single traveler, I was happy to find other singles as well (although the other clientele were primarily couples). Really enjoyed hanging with everyone in the pool!

Tip - I didn’t realize until just before I arrived that alcohol isn’t available at the resort. No problem though; everyone brings there own and there is a fridge in the the rooms. BevMo is also only a few blocks away. Saved a ton of money bringing my own alcohol vs paying resort prices for drinks.

Can’t wait until my next stay!

Very pleasant stay at the Santiago Resort. I booked a room for two days during the week.

The resort is a great safe place for LGBT travelers. It was bigger than I expected because the photos make it seem like a smaller space. The clothing optional is relaxing for those who enjoy that option. The front desk was very helpful and nice throughout my stay.

Value wise, I would say it’s worth the price. The rooms were very modern and very nicely decorated. There was always staff working, whether cleaning or maintenance. The grounds were great. They had hammocks, a jacuzzi, outside showers. They also gave you a snack bag in your room and had a small beverage room. A small breakfast and lunch was provided by the hotel.

I don’t think I have any complaints beside housekeeping not cleaning an area of my bathroom properly.

Overall, a great stay.

Wow! There are no other words to describe. Santiago was recommended to us the last time we visited Palm Springs, so we thought we would give it a try. Our stay was amazing. The rooms are well designed, clean, and comfortable. The service is absolutely amazing. We loved the breakfast and poolside lunch. The pool was just the right temperature and the hot tub was great at night when the air got a bit chilly. Most of all, we enjoyed the other guests. Our stay was exactly how we want a vacation to be. Fun, relaxing, with great people. Can’t wait to return!

I'd love to not spread the word about Santiago Resort, ifonly to ensure a future vacancy for me, but that would do a disservice to the amazing experience I had here. 10/10 when it comes to the amenities, food, service, and vibe! You can't beat the location in a quiet neighborhood with views of the mountains too!

We loved staying at Santiago. It was clean, enjoyable and inviting. The staff were pleasant and having breakfast/lunch included is a perk. We used the free bikes to tour Palm Springs too. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful and very comfortable upscale gay men’s resort with extremely friendly and efficient service. Clothing optional. Excellent pool and spa. Very good free breakfast and lunch daily. Tasteful desert decor and gorgeous landscaping. 3-minute drive from downtown Palm Springs. A place to kick back and relax for the resort experience.

This was our first trip to Palm Springs and I’m glad we picked Santiago Resort. The online pictures looks good, but it still doesn’t do it justice. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The included breakfast and lunch is a bonus and was delicious. Bob at the breakfast bar was always super friendly

It’s a highly recommended resort! There’s nothing negative to say about my experience during my stay. Extremely friendly staff. The entire place was well kept; love the heated pool and hot tub. Serves awesome breakfast and great boxed lunch, 24/7 open cantina (coffee, cookies/popcorn, sodas and other non alcoholic beverages). Our room was great with comfy bed. Room service daily.

I would definitely recommend Santiago resort and hope to be back again some day. It’s small but cute. The gardens and grounds feel secluded and well maintained.
The rooms are fairly nice and have what you need.
They serve a simple breakfast and also have a lunch option which has been quite good. You can access drinks and snacks at all times.
The pool is heated which is a big plus. Visiting at the end of January it was chilly outside but the pool was easy to get into and enjoy.
They also have a hot tub, fireplace, hammocks and outdoor showers
The views of the mountains are spectacular and the clear night sky was beautiful.
It’s close enough to walk into the main part of Palm Springs or an easy Uber ride. They also have a few bikes on sight to use.
Keep in mind it is clothing optional, which I personally enjoyed:)
