Sarkis Pastry, Glendale CA

I drove a long way on December 7 to purchase some mix cookies.they close at 8 o’clock. We were there about 730. The ladies were working there, and they acted like they doing us a favor. And when I open the box the second morning to have some with my coffee, it was horrible taste falling apart. Like they’re old or bad butter, and not to mention the service was not the greatest like they want to get rid of whatever left over, no smile and not a customer friendly, so when I called the second morning, I spoke to somebody and explained what happened, didn’t even offer if you want to come in and exchange them or get refund all I heard sorry and I’ll tell Mr. Sarkis.so I’ll never go there again. Bad quality bad service.

Unless you have had Baklava from this place you can't possibly understand what you're missing, let me help you. If you have only ever had baklava in a restaurant you've definitely been missing out! Stop and try this Baklava in Glendale will not be disappointed, though you may become addicted. I make no apologies.
EDIT: NEVER order online. I asked for and was charged for a 3 day delivery that took over a week! They never refunded me, apologized or made it right. Very crooked online dealings. This is why I have changed my 5 star review to a 3 star, very disappointed.

I love their Kanafeh, spinach pies, Black Forest cake, shaybeyeh almost everything. I like this location the best.

This place is downgrading its quality and service, every time the knefeh has different quality. I dont know why they add lots of syrup to the knefeh, what if people dont like sugar? ! Whoever want syrup you can simply add to for the costumer. Last time it was good, today it was soaked with syrup. Disappointing!

Sarkis pastry has the best mamoul, I have tried many different bakeries. Also good customer service.

Great pastry, great kenefe bjebne, great croissants and prompt customer service. Very consistent and this is based on over 35 years of being a customer.

I made an order through uber eat since I didn't have time to go I ordered a fruit cake, everything was fine, it's not the first time I've ordered it but I have guests at my house just waiting for dessert and they send it frozen, not even a note letting me know that I was not ready to leave even though my first bad experience was bad, I hope that the Pasadena store does not lower my expectations towards this pastry shop

Stopped here while passing through. Got some savory pastries which were delicious. The cookies were fantastic. The employees are really nice. Would drop by again.

Please run away if I can give this pastry store zero stars I would. The customer service was terrible. She didn’t even welcome us or greet us in she was very rude. She was wincing at us the whole time when ever I wanted to choose something she will say no get this it was like what she wanted. The pastry’s were not fresh and overpriced trust there better options then this pastry. Now in days workers have no respect.

It's a hit and miss on the freshness of products. The last couple times we've been disappointed.
I will say, it's probably the best middle eastern bakery in Glendale.

I think this place still holds best pastries in Glendale, at least one of two best places, it's top for Baklava & middle eastern sweets, been a fan for 30 years
