Save Mart, Angels Camp CA

Was denied purchase of alcohol as a 26 year old with a valid California ID because my 12 year old sister was with me. When asked why, the cashier cited "California law" which does not seem to exist upon further internet searching and would almost certainly not have been enforced if someone older was purchasing. On top of this, the cashier was rude from the moment I stepped to the register, was extremely slow ringing up the customers in front of me, and also snapped at the customer behind me in line. Never shopping at this location again. The liquor store next door has a much better selection at better prices.

Great store lots of options. Tons of different flavor things I have never seen before I definitely picked up stuff just to try it.

Over priced, they are getting rid of most of the Hispanic food, constantly running out of lactose free milk, they run out of what they call “deals” as soon as they open. They never seem to change the oil from the fryers because it always tastes old. They always say they’re hiring but never answer or hire. They jack up the prices because they’re the biggest grocery store in angels camp. It’s surprising that angels food market has managed to keep its low prices and they have a waaay better meat selection just have to drive past expensive savemart.

The cake and cupcakes were beautiful and delicious. This was second time ordering for a special occasion and couldn't be more pleased.

You want a special cake for that special person or you need to curb your sugar craving, this the place. Great bakery and great designs! The flowers are always fresh and perfect for a quick thankyou-or a bundle for your new wife. Great job Save Mart

Love the cleanliness and layout and selection of the products. Employees super helpful and conscientious. The meat selection could be better.

Very good selection of groceries, meats and seafood.
Fresh breads everyday.
Fruit and veggies section is top of the line.
Staff is helping customers with everything.
Many products on sale.
I tend to stop there everytime I drive my Blazer to work. (Mostly I take the bus)
I am very satisfied with the products and service.

Hard to find what you are looking for because I don't go here that often. But I got everything I needed. Produce is always great. Awesome Deli and bakery.

Love SaveMart, great store with the remodeling done several years back. They always have great meat and produce. We shop at the Sonora store every week.

I'm never disappointed shopping here. I was able to run in buy my items and leave in 20 minutes. No wait checkout.

We shop here when we come to town and have yet to have a bad experience. You have to understand that in a mountain community like this the prices are going to be a bit higher due to transportation costs, but even with that considered it still doesn't break the bank for us. Store is always clean and well-stocked. Hard to ask for more.

Savemart fried chicken is the best tasting fried chicken around! I'm not a big fried chicken eater, until we found this! My husband is a fried chicken-holic! And he agrees! Way better than Pop Eyes and KFC! Oh my! It's their secret seasoning and coating and cooker! No one compairs! At least not yet.

My family got Fried chicken from the deli and also a rotisserie chicken they were both delicious. Cant wait to go get more.

Delicious fried chicken and Quality Meats at the butcher I'm very impressed you barbecue at your grocery store I want to try it out I tried some carnita meat from you guys tonight pork tenderloin had to be the best tacos I've ever made question if I want barbecue before I arrive can I call it in at the store so they can so can have it ready for me I saw people ordering steak swordfish chicken fajitas ribs

Angels Camp Save Mart was fab. Especially their deli and bakery. You bakery manager deserves a raise!

Now in my opinion this save Mart store has the best deal on groceries and any grocery store and the mother load are used to drive to Sonora to Walmart and I actually found out I can save money and spend less on groceries by just shopping at save Mart in Angels Camp. Plus I live in Arnold and it was a lot closer than Walmart so I just couldn’t see spending more gas to go to Walmart and it cost me more money for groceries when I really started comparing prices save Mart is the place to go.

Save mart is save mart the only new thing that happened was to many people standing in line and not enough cashier's to push the crowd through

Great store. Kind of pricey but great selection of produce. Make great sandwiches also. Deli is gd.

Best market in the area for everything.angels camp market is for gourmet cheeses and euro eats. I love it and go once a mth to indulge but for budget reasons I go to angels camp save Mart.plus they have the sweetest people helping out! They will help ya with a smile and joke even in the worse times, I for one appreciate it!
