SB SOS is Terrific! We just moved from our home in Santa Barbara to Casa Dorinda and the SOS girls made this transition a joy! They took care of all the details and created a wonderful new home for us! We felt totally confident with their documentation and attention to detail. All of our items were beautifully placed with the precision of a choreography. The items that we can no longer use were identified for a donation or estate sale. This is the second major move we have used their services for and we would recommend them without reservation.

We have moved MANY times over the past 62 years! But this move from a 3,500 square foot house to a 1,000 square foot apartment in a retirement community was the most challenging ever. Thankfully, the SB SOS women were there to help us make it happen. They were a joy to work with and did everything required to get the job done efficiently and in a friendly manner. We could not be happier with the results, because we are settled in our new apartment/ our house has been sold/ and all of the “stuff” that we no longer have room for (or need) has been sent to our family, sold, or otherwise disposed of! As out of town advocates for a dear friend who needed to move from residential living to assisted living at Samarkand, engaging the services of SB SOS was one of the best decisions we made.

When I contacted Kelsey, I discovered that she had helped my friend move to Samarkand 4 years ago. Her familiarity with the possessions of importance and the personality of the customer were invaluable.

Because we could not be present for the preparation of the transition, it was comforting to have Kelsey and Silvia carefully navigating a rather complex downsizing and move. Their skill, grace and compassion made this a smooth transition for our reluctant friend. The reward: Our friend could not have been happier, or made to feel more special, on the day she arrived to her new Brandel Hall home. Seeing her valued possessions and artwork perfectly in place creating a warm, inviting and comforting home was the highlight of the entire move.

Kelsey & her staff were absolutely amazing! I never heard of a moving company that also decorated the space beautifully with the furniture & pictures my relative had from her apt to assisted living. Kelsey and her team were incredible! Not only did they move my mother from independent living to assisted living in an effortless way, but they set up her new place like magic. They really took the time to understand my mother and her needs and what she loved and then they set up her new place so it truly really reflected her. We left for the day and came back to a space that was breathtaking. With very short notice, SB SOS was able to step in and help me downsize and move my almost 90 year old brother-in-law. Even better, they were able to take care of everything for me, since I was not able to be present for the move. Planning, execution, and follow-up have been seamless. I recommend SB SOS very highly.

The prospect of downsizing from our family home to a small apartment was stressful and daunting! Kelsey and her team came to my rescue. They helped me make decisions about what I could take and were able to find homes for and dispose of all unneeded items. The team carefully and sensitively packed needed and treasured items, moved them to my new space and presented me with my lovely new home completely unpacked, furniture perfectly placed as planned, clothes hung in my closet and my bed ready to sleep in the very first night! They were fantastic; I highly recommend SOS SB.

I was walking my dog pass a home for sale and overheard this blonde woman yell at a Hispanic looking male moving some items that he was a wet back and needed to go back to working in the fields and had no business moving furniture. I was shocked. I took my dog home and went back to have a conversation with her but again was taken back that she appeared to be showing the home for clients. I asked for her card. I don't care about how many good reviews she has. Talking this way to another human being is not ok. Clearly they hire cheap labor and take all the credit. They treat their employees awful. Be careful who you hire. These 2 women are downright awful and racist.

Kelsey and Co.were fantastic. We could still be packing and sorting if we had tried to move without them. They made it easy for us to downsize severely in order to move into assisted living. They were friendly and comforting as well as being very professional about the job.
I can highly recommend them to other people in the same situation, or to people who have to move for any reason.

SB SOS was recommended to us when we had to sell our home to move into a retirement community. They are the best! After 52 years in our home we had many things to sort through. Silvia and Tara helped us get started and suggested what we needed to keep and what we should donate or just toss. When we finally did move into the retirement apartment, SB SOS moved everything and positioned it in the new apartment. When we opened the door, even the bed was made and ready for us that evening. Kelsey had great ideas about furniture placement and we were surprised at how many of our things she actually fit into our apartment. Sylvia and Lisa finished setting up the apartment.
