SC Ranch Market reviews
16I really love this place, I really do. I just moved out here to SC from Belmont shore (Long Beach) and this place feels like home. There is no other Carnicería or markets like this anywhere close by. It’s 8: 35 pm So when I look online and see that it closes at 9pm I know I still have time to run to my favorite store to grab a few things I need to make my chilaquiles or to make my Carne en su jugo (Mexican dishes) or maybe just a quick agua fresca from the eatery in the back. I’m just very disappointed that online it says it did not close till 9pm. I arrived at 8: 40pm only to find it closed. I looked on the door for a closing time to confirm and was blank. Please update your times online and on your door. Had I known it was closed I would’ve looked for another place to get what I needed
The grocery store side is good but the restaurants it’s absolutely disgusting food tasted four days old and the food had no flavor I would not recommend the restaurant at all even the sweets looked good but tasted terrible and I mean really terrible The staff is pretty nice though.
We had an excellent cook out with the meat here. Shish kabobs. Bueno. Small, cramped, colorful. Staff looks at me like I'm retarded, but I don't speak Spanish, and they're probably fed up with that.
Great little neighborhood Market. Try the marinated chicken. I fry onions and red peppers in olive oil with lime. Add the Chicken. Great fajitas!
They have some of the best carne asada meat & produce in town. We live in Fullerton California and we've driven from Fullerton to San Clemente just to get the meat from their Market
I was told about this store from a friend in the area who shops here regularly and said they had the best pico de gallo. I initially stopped in to pick up s container and now I stop in regularly to get a few containers at a time. It really is the best pico I have ever had. Spiciness level does very from time to time but it is always super fresh. Good selection of tortilla chips to choose from as well.
Shrimp burrito sucks. More rice and tortilla than anything. The shrimp is stewed with bell pepper so there’s more peppers than shrimp in the burrito. Cannot recommend spending nearly $10 for this. No no no.
Great Mexican place in San Clemente. You are able to find a lot stuff that you won't find in Ralph's, Albertson's or Stater Brothers. The bakery and restaurant towards the back is a must.
I love to come get my Mexican spices and tortillas here. Delicious carnitas on weekends at times. The new taco shop and bakery in back is delicious. Best carnitas in town.
Hidden Mexican place offers food and Bakery you must try if your in the Area nothing around will be this place. You won't leave with empty stomach.
No need to cross the border to get that Delicious and unique Mexican flavor. With unbelievable deals this is another gem San Clemente has to offer.
Amazing place.small friendly.everything you need in terms of Mexican cuisine prep and ingredients.cool place.also.who doesn't want to support small biz and this is a great place to do so
Their vegetables and fruits are are fresh. Their fish is little expensive but it’s fresh and they clean it and cut it for free. They’ve verity of snacks like cookies and chocolates that you won’t usually find somewhere else.
Everything is affordable and amazing, you can't go wrong. Fresh produce, pendulum, full bakery, juices, Mexican food and coffee
My favorite spot in all of San Clemente. A true neighborhood gem. I try to shop here every chance I get!
They offer great produce and other delicious authentic goods at a very good value. There baked goods and ice cream are 10/10!
The best part of this shop is the great character and community they bring to the neighborhood. When there was a city-wide power outage, and other shops were closed, SC Ranch Market went above and beyond. Even though their registers were down they helped their neighbors out! I saw one guy give out ice, and ask for nothing in return. I wanted to buy a lighter to light my stove, an employee gave me his lighter, and told me not to worry about it. Sure, these may be low-value items, but critical when the power out.it's the thought and action that counts! They could of easily price gouged, or not decidiced to help.
I used to be a skeptic about shopping small, and how most of the value stays in the community after the purchase, but truly this is the case. Shop small and support the people that care!
I will be coming back and back and back again!
