Mary did an amazing job helping us furnish our entire new home. We had her back and forth in the showroom and I think even kept her later than her shift. She was very knowledgeable, offering suggestions, and patient with us taking time to make sure we got all we wanted. Outstanding designs and excellent customer service. We love Alan Beardslee and the rest of the design/sales team. Bought many items from SD. The biggest challenge is to walk into the store and NOT buy something!

We love going to the Rancho Mirage store, the kind and patient customer service, especially from Jordon and Quinten, really make the decision and purchases go smooth. We always find something new and different with style to add into our home or outdoor space.

Went into the store, saw what I wanted, ordered it. They told me I could pick it up in 1 wk. The item arrived in 5 days, they called me and when I arrived, put it in my car. Easy breezy!

I was truly looking forward to a beautiful new set of bedroom furniture from Scandinavian Designs. I ordered five matching pieces in May, four months ago, from the Rancho Mirage showroom. I was told by Alan that the furniture would arrive in July and would be delivered shortly thereafter. The delivery truck arrived at my house in mid-August without the high chest and bed slats. I was not notified that they were sent the wrong color high chest. At that time, I was told that they would find the bed slats and, hopefully, the matching chest of drawers. It is now mid-September and was recently told by the Customer Service manager in Boise, Idaho that the chest would be delivered most likely in November, six months after the original order. The sales staff at the Rancho Mirage have essentially ignored my phone calls and messages, which is why I had to contact the manager of the online store.
Customer service at this showroom has been a deep disappointment for me. The staff seem competent to write up and process the orders, but seem disinterested in dealing with problems with promised delivery. This was my first experience with this showroom and will be my last.

I love my yellow barrel chairs. They are so pretty. Everyone that vist our home loved them too.
I highly recommend the store in Palm Dessert where I purchased the chairs.

While shopping for furniture for a desert home yet to be found, I found a warm, wonderful couch. Eduardo and I stood there with our mouths agape when another sales associate came over to pin on a sold sign. Gasp! But Eduardo gave me a hug and a warm welcome and I promised to return. When the perfect house turned up, I went back and then that perfect couch arrived to sit in its shipping wrap for six weeks while the house was being perfectified. NOW, according to photographs, it finally graces my new TV room. Thank you, Eduardo, for the warm welcome! I look forward to actually curling up on it for the first time when I return from Seattle in the fall!

I had a chair base that was broken, and could not be repaired, by a rental guest. The chair itself was still in great shape and I wanted to keep it Jordan Montoya helped me to locate the manufacturer in China and order a new base for a lot less than it would cost to replace the chair.

One of the most enjoyable experiences we have ever had furnishing our home in Rancho Mirage. We were able to purchase all of the major pieces from this one location, and then added complimentary pieces from the catalogue. All made possible by the design services of Edwardo from Scandinavian Designs, Palm Desert who even made a house call to make sure the pieces would work in our home. Our two new chairs are exquisitely crafted, supremely comfortable, and the perfect fit for our home. The staff, both in the store and at delivery, were helpful and knowledgeable.

The Scandinavian Design team at Rancho Mirage, California is extraordinary and offered outstanding design assistance and customer service. However, the central west coast warehouse in Washington has on 3 occasions shipped the wrong furniture: wrong color leather chairs; then again the wrong color leather and only one chair. In addition a dining console table was shipped with coffee table legs. Over one month later they still have not been able to correctly ship what we purchased. Their shipping/warehouse operations are a COMPLETE DISASTER. Buyer beware. The store team has been so apologetic but even they have run out of ways to explain the company’s shipping mess. It would be great if a Senior Manager from the Washington Shipping/Warehouse operations would reach out to us and explain why we should accept this pathetic service and what they are going to do about it.
