Scoops, Los Angeles CA

We love Scoops and have gone many times. Great and creative new flavors daily. We first learned about them many years ago after visiting their location in Culver City. This has been such a great addition to the York HLP neighborhood over the past several years. Brent and the owner are always our favorite staff. Super humble, low key, honest establishment that always makes the most creative ice cream flavors.

Omg! The best ice cream I’ve ever had. I’m here visiting from Texas. The service is amazing. Can’t wait to come back.

First time in Scoops at York. The place is bright with cheerful decor. I really love the light installation made of ice cream spoons.
Service is friendly and excellent. We sampled several flavors before ordering and the staff were very accommodating.
The matcha horchata Oreo, blueberry cheesecake and sea salt chocolate Oreo were our hands on favorites. I had high hopes for the lavender coffee but the floral note was too light.

BEST ICECREAM I EVER HAD! Seriously! I had my fair share of trying out ice cream stores in LA. Jeni’s, Wanderlust, Van etc… I love them all, I never say no to icecream, but this icecream seriously has one of the best textures. I had Brown bread, Mint chip, lychee, and Whiskey Vanilla. The Whiskey Vanilla was my favorite. I could really tell they don’t play about their ingredients, non of that artificial bs. It’s so fluffy, creamy, and swirls oh so dreamily in your tongue. Owner was super nice and patient as I was trying and picking the flavors. Such a gentle guy. 11/10!

Awesome little ice cream shop in a cool neighborhood. I was planning on going to Donut Friend next door but ice cream sounded nice for a change. We each got a single scoop in a cone, each with two flavors. All together we tried Butterscotch Oreo, Sea Salt Chocolate and Burnt Sugar Vanilla all of which were great.

Highly recommend!
