Stay clear from Dr. Cannon if you value your health & safety. Particularly if you’re a woman. Despite having multiple well documented illnesses Dr. Cannon always wanted to blame every symptom I had on “anxiety” so much so that when I broke my hip in JANUARY he made me wait until March to get the x-ray that diagnosed it. All the while I was begging for help. He said my hip swelling up, excruciating pain, inability to walk were all caused by anxiety. Only to find out that my hip was broken. At the same time Dr. Cannon prescribed me medication for my migraines that also happens to be a laxative. I became incontinent for NINE WEEKS. I lost 20lbs, was sent to the ER after collapsing at my cardiologist apt. My cardiologist told Dr. Cannon I needed an urgent referral to a GI. He refused. He said all of this was my “anxiety” at play. Even though I repeatedly told him anxiety has never caused these types of symptoms for me. I eventually got a referral from a supervisor and a GI told me my symptoms were being caused by the laxative Dr. Cannon had me on & never told me it was a laxative. When the mask mandate in health facilities fell I attempted to put in an ADA request but was blocked multiple times by his office. I had to involve the patient resource center. Eventually my request was denied because Dr. Cannon admitted he was not reading any of the notes/diagnoses sent to him by the specialists he referred me to that would’ve substantiated my ADA request. Dr. Cannon also makes a habit of discussing confidential matters in group chats! (Something I was able to view thanks for Epic/MyChart). This has worsened the care I receive from numerous other providers in the same office. Now in the ultimate move of retaliation Dr. Cannon has fired me as his patient for reporting his negligence to the Patient Resource Center. He’s abandoned me, a very sick patient, without care because I advocated for better care. Stay very far away if you value your health & safety.

Edit: This is in response to the comment left in reply to my review. I have NOT been in continued contact with Sutter's Patient Resource Center. They've blocked my number, threatened to revoke access to MyHealth online, and have sent threatening letters in an unsuccessful attempt to shut me up. Do to their lack of response I am now filing a complaint with the Medical Board.
