We couldn't be happier with Scott Management. They've managed our HOA for 3 years now and are by far the best property management company among the four or five we've worked with in the last 30 years. Our condo board is pretty hands on and our expectations are high as far as responsiveness and professionalism. We're particularly happy with our property manager, Ellona, who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, does timely follow up, and seldom lets things fall through the cracks. Scott Management's accounting dept.also rarely makes mistakes - again, a refreshing change from previous companies who managed us.

Scott Management Company is THE worst! They are extremely unprofessional, not responsive and when they do respond they just lie and give you the runaround. They are beyond inconsiderate about the unsanitary living situation they put tenants and homeowners in - it's a health issue!
Multiple units in our building have been affected (AGAIN) by plumbing issues, which has lead to mold and that has resulted in walls, bathrooms and kitchens beyond removed, literally! All units were either forced to move out or stay in their units and live in this filthy situation until repairs are done. The fact that this company is inconsiderate about this kind of living situation is beyond all of us. How is it OK to live without a kitchen? !? How is it OK to live without your bathroom and shower or even a bed to sleep on? !? ! And it has been weeks of this! Instead of speeding up the process to get everyone back in their units and lives, Scott Management is dragging their feet, not being responsive, lying with the information they give and holding up the work that should've been done by now.
Every issue reported goes unresolved.lights being out, the building having a disgusting odor on certain floors, pest control issues.the list goes on and on.
I would hate to name the person in charge of our building but SHE definitely need to not be in this business.
No compassion or consideration for what they're putting us thru.

I rarely post reviews unless the service is truly spectacular- or truly abysmal. In this case, my experience with Scott Management has been firmly in the latter. I am now waiting 5 days for them to review security camera footage to submit for the sheriff's office to review for a recent break-in. Petty crime has been increasing in our neighborhood, but the response from Scott Management (principally, Ellona Hess), has been slow. When I criticized their response, what little support I had been getting evaporated. Ellona Hess suddenly declared she could no longer respond to my requests, as I am "only" a tennant (who is paying the HOA fees, and their salary) - despite having provided similar information in the month prior.

Truly appalling that Ellona Hess in particular, and Scott Management in general, seem to be unwilling to provide even minimal support to secure the properties for which they are paid to manage, even more so when the requests are coming from law enforcement.

Poor customer service and increasing crime in our neighborhood - do not recommend Scott Management.

In love with our property, but the owners should definitely look into new management. We’ve had consistent poor communication, bully tactics and no accountability from Scott Management.

Margaret Gonella has not contacted me once in over a year in regards to getting us a reserved parking spot. We pay $500 dollars a month in HOA fees, and cannot get a call back, an email or anything to give us an update. Where are my $500 going to if I cannot get the respect of a response! When I spoke to her in person, I knew that she had not read ANY of my emails, because if she had.she'd know what I was asking about when I finally managed to speak with her in person since she was at our location with a group of people.

Either Margaret is showing favoritism in who she responds to, or she never put us on the waiting list. We have been asking to be put on that list for 1.5 years already.

Multiple people in this complex hold a lot of similar feelings of horrible customer service. It is one thing to be overwhelmed and short staffed, its another to treat homeowners with condescending attitude and patronize them when all you are asking for is an update.

If things continue I will be following up with legal action with the rest of the homeowners who also have pictures/ emails/ and stories of bad service. To Whom It May Concern: Train your employees to have a proper turnaround time and treat others with respect, or replace them with someone who will.

TERRIBLE RESPONSE! The plumbing is terrible and it can take several days for them to send out a repair person to fix. In the last few months alone we had our sinks overflow from waste originating from another persons condo. This week we reported a problem on Monday morning that the sink is overflowing and backed up. The response was maybe by Thursday or Friday they will get a plumber to fix.

Even one star is too much for them! I applied for an apartment, and I told them that I want the place so bad. They charged me for the application fee (to take care of my documents and to do background check) and they were supposed to let me know if anything is missing. I even asked them the day I was applying, to attach the proof of income and they said it is not needed for now. After three days, I called them to see the situation, and they told me that I was rejected because my proof of income was missing! Unbelievable. They did not do even the background check. I usually do not write a review, but they waste my time. Of course I eventually went to their office and took my check back.
Not recommended at all.

Today is 12/17/2021 and the water emergency (2 units affected by the issue) that took place on 12/16/2021 (about 24 hours ago) has not been resolved. Ellona Hess who is the manager, responded only ONCE BY EMAIL; she never returned any of the calls which is extremely disappointed. She sent a plumber to investigate an issue, and based on his findings, concluded that the tenant (me) is responsible for the repair of a water valve that installed outside of the unit and accessible by anyone; do you think this is unbiased decision?
I was able to talk to 2 Ellona's associates, however those employees are not a "decision makers", and were unable to help.
By 3: 30 pm 12/17/2021 I called to the office to escalate "non responsiveness" of Ellona Hess to the upper management, and was very surprised when receptionist Wendy transferred me to Scott Hess, I believe Ellona's husband.isn't ridiculous to complain to a husband of a misbehaved wife?

Take your business elsewhere and avoid Scott Management! All the owner Scott cares about is collecting HOA dues. He is extremely rude with a couldn’t care less attitude. I would love to share my entire experience but unfortunately they have been such a disappointment in so many ways this review would be way too long. I have never had an experience with any ownership/management at any company go as poorly as it did with Scott when I tried to escalate a complaint. A good business starts at the top and unfortunately the top at Scott management is awful and arrogant. Happy to provide any details for anyone who would like them. If Scott would like to talk about this he can call me directly as when he FINALLY called me back today he had no answers or explanations, went quiet while making our building’s assistant answer for things which she was not involved in and finally said he had to go and we could talk about this (the whole reason for the call) some other time. Wish I had a recording of our call to share as this company would go out of business.

Scott is awful company. Today is already 10 days how they delay to fix the water leak in my appartment. Each time they make an appointment then postpone it.

Ellona Hess at Scott Management has been providing our HOA with Excellent Service for many years now. Ellona is truly the Best Community Association Manager we’ve ever had because she’s very helpful, kind and professional. Ellona is an asset to our HOA thanks to Scott Management.

ELLONA HESS at Scott Management has been super responsive to all of our requests and needs while living at Seagate Village in PDR.
