I couldn't express enough my gratitude to all the staff at Scripps Green! They provided me with excellent care through my 5 day hospitalizations. They made sure they did whatever it was possible to make sure they did what they could to make me feel better during such a hard time. Scripps Green Dr's and nurses are some of the best have ever encountered and could have not received better care.

I have always had positive experiences with my visits to Scripps Green Hospital. I am surprised to see so many negative reviews here. These are either paid-for attack reviews or there are far more entitled whiners about than I ever could have imagined.

Because of Nurse Autumn’s negligence and unprofessionalism in the Scripps Green Urgent Care in March of this year, I ended up being hospitalized due to a contaminated blood draw, and I was given bags of Vancomycin (a highly toxic, broad spectrum antibiotic used for life threatening bacterial infections) for three days. My mom was there to witness Autumn’s negligence.

I went from being told that I had a life threatening double staph infection in my blood, to being told I did NOT all in the span of a few days. This was a horrifying and traumatic experience for not only myself, but for my whole family. The drug caused numerous side effects that I was told would subside within the span of a few days, but have lasted for months. I physically couldn’t eat for months because of intense stomach pain from the drug, and I've lost 20 pounds. Numerous other side effects manifested during the administration of the drug, and are still persisting to this day.

The worst of it all has been the psychological terror I’ve had to endure since being discharged from the hospital. I’ve suffered from crippling psychosis, derealization and unpredictable panic attacks, which I had never before experienced. Life just doesn't feel the same anymore. I fear dying every single day now. I constantly experience flashbacks to this day, especially when I'm trying to sleep at night.

Needless to say, potential side effects were not communicated to me before the drug was given. I didn't even know what drug they were giving me until I had to ask them myself. This has been the most difficult and scary year of my life and it could have all been prevented if Autumn had slowed down, and followed the protocol. Her negligence caused me so much harm, and her actions wasted the hospital’s money, time and resources. I’m at the point where I need to see someone being held accountable for this. I’m not sure how I will proceed from here, but I at least need Autumn to know that she has ruined my mental and physical health. I've learned so much from this experience, and frankly, I've lost faith in the medical system. What happened to me is not okay.

Like many others, if I could leave a 0 star review, I would.

My father is still currently in the ICU at Green and is at a very volatile state. The head nurse there (some old lady, I don't remember her name) and a nurse named Daphne were very rude when talking to us. Last night, he had a serious episode, but we were not aware of this until we arrived at 10am. They had failed to contact us, but the old nurse had essentially implied to me that it was our responsibility to contact them to be updated. 7 hours had passed and we didn't know. It was absolutely astonishing that she would say that. Daphne was also very inconsiderate and treated my father as if he was nothing more than a sick being. No empathy and just insulting overall. If he weren't so unstable, we would have transferred him to a different hospital immediately. Watch out for that old lady and Daphne. They don't deserve to be called nurses.

I’ve been in healthcare for 15 years, and have always had amazing experiences and care at Scripps Encinitas. Writing this review I am sick to my stomach regarding patient care. Post surgery, my mom was in excruciating pain. They gave her an opioid that made her so incoherent she couldn’t talk or text. It also didn’t manage her pain. We asked multiple times if there were different medications, shared our concerns, asked to speak with the Dr. Day 5, she’s in tears because she doesn’t understand what is going on. They try to release her when her pain is unmanaged, they know she lives alone and she is not functional enough to dress herself or send a text message.

I just had knee replacement at Scripps Green Hospital it was a great experience. Everyone was professional and caring. No one acted inconvenienced if you needed something. They have a great team of nurses, surgeon (Dr. Rosen) and pt staff. Food wasn't bad either!

Everyone is compassionate. That is huge to the patient. I just had my kidney taken out. The team is amazing. I appreciate everyone's role they played in helping. The ppl that work here are very much hero's. I don't know how long I'm going to be here but grateful for the employees showing up to deal with sick ppl. Give everyone a raise.

I am having a major issue with the Scripps Green location. I showed up on time with my certified and registered service dog which I require to help me with various tasks and my 10 year-old son to stay with the dog as I do not want to take her in and expose her to radiation. Everyone in the office that checked me in was very courteous. The woman in charge of the MRI at the time, Amber Diego, was extremely rude and would not allow me to keep my appointment as she said that they could not be responsible for my son while he was waiting in the waiting room. She belittled me and tried to make me feel like a terrible parent and then walked away without any offer of rescheduling or alternative solution. I am extremely offended. I took the Coaster from Oceanside with some of the last of my money, rolled in my wheelchair 2 miles up the hill to the facility, only to be turned away with no heart. I really needed that appointment. I am battling cancer and the timing of this scan is very important. This is not how a hospital should be treating disabled people with cancer and certified service animals. Zero compassion from Amber Diego.

Hematology/Oncology floor 3 nurse CASSIDY was so Rude. I have never seen a health care provider so inconsiderate and disrespectful to a patient (my family member). I witnessed her treat a sick patient terribly 2 days in a row. Disappointing. All of the other staff and Drs.were amazing!

Wonderful care with Maya Gumanovsky NP, Arjun Sehgal MD and rest of the staff. Carrying detailed patients-center care. Highly recommend you.

I had a great experience at the hospital when I had to unfortunately bring a family member here. We were able to get some fresh air outside and watch the Paragliders and the golfers. Everybody was very knowledgeable, friendly, and laid-back here. I have seen a lot of reviews about the costs but since I never received the bill I don’t have anything to say about that. I would highly recommend this hospital. I have 10 years as a health care worker so I have a lot to compare it to.

If zero was an option, it would be the selection. I waited months for a specialist appt. Call center said arrive 30min before appt to get imaging. Arrived and was checked in 30 min before appt. Imaging order was not input. Walk over to get imaging and there is a long wait time. Return to appt and am told too much time has elapsed and they don’t want to inconvenience the Dr’s schedule. WAIT - the patient is an inconvenience! Definitely telling on the care I was going to receive. No, thank you. Luckily there are plenty of healthcare options.

Worst customer service ever. Many errors and double billing from doctors you never received care from! This hospital cares more about lining their pockets than providing care to patients. They take no responsibility and do not take care of the issues with their patients

Be warned if you end up at this location- the staff stands by obvious coding errors resulting in double or additional billing from doctors you NEVER saw or received care from. Customer service has been useless.

A sad example of a hospital caring more about profits than their patients. Go elsewhere if at all possible.

Be extremely careful with Dr Nicolle Record orthopedic surgeon. She is completely unethical and failed to provide me with my Disc displacement diagnosis after an MRI test. Also her assistants pretended to be her, absolutely astonished. Be very careful guys or you might go into a medical malpractice experience unfortunately.

I am shocked by the positive reviews because this was by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had at a hospital. Go elsewhere, please.

Be prepared for coding errors and double billing from doctors you never saw or received care from. This hospital cares more about lining their pockets than providing care to patients. Refused to correct their billing mistake and did not provide proper care. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Terrible experience at this practice. I’m truly baffled by all the positive reviews on this page. Would give it zero stars if I could. Received a bill for services that were not provided to me. It was a nightmare dealing with their billing, improper coding and lack of transparency on what exactly they are billing you for. The billing department completely dismissed my concerns and questions, refused to correct their mistake. The incompetence is astounding. Do NOT come here
