SCV recycling is a professional business. I arranged with them to pick up my 1999 Saturn for salvage yesterday, they said one of their drivers would be at my house between 5 and 7 pm yesterday, the driver called and let me know he would be at my place in 15 to 20 minutes. He got here, I signed the title and received my agreed payment and 10 minutes later he was ready to go.
Just when I thought it couldn't be any worse. They do away with the small scales. The only way a guy had a chance to get in and out within a hour, well more often two.
I don't know why they can't comprehend the two scale system they have. A loop. Weigh in, dump, go to second scale, weigh empty then go park somewhere and come back for pay. Simple. If it wasn't for me people would still be pulling on to the scale forward. Ridiculous.
Today the line was almost backed up to Target. I get out and go look to see what the hold up is, is a lady unloading her truck literally one item at a time. A lot of this goes on. Put a limit of five mins to unload and if they can't have a guy help. There's numerous employees doing nothing.
Anyway, was a good scrap yard 4 years ago. Not ever 5 star but fair prices and used to be somewhat fast. Is dead now. I left the line and found a new place. 6 years of loyalty out the window.
I took 4 batteries from my boyfriends low rider we had 13 of them all the exact same. They paid me 8 dollars each when he brought 4 more of the same batteries they paid him 14 dollars each. Must have been because I am a women so they cheated me and again they were exactly the same brand weight and size. That shows you this place can't be trusted and they take advantage of women. Don't use this place they will cheat you.
