Sea Gypsy Motel reviews
17The staff was great and very helpful. The room was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pool and spa were clean and relaxing. The view from our room was amazing! We are looking forward to our next stay.
Room was dirty. Couch was filthy and I found used plastic fork next to couch. If it wasn't right on the beech I wouldn't ever stay.
This place was amazing! We celebrated my husband Mike's 64th Birthday! We had so much fun with our Brother s and sister's in law
We had the most attentive housekeeping gal caring for our space. She went above and beyond for us. Family tradition for over 25 (now 33) years coming here. Gabby and Donna are wonderful! Caring staff and the views are Second to none.
Workers are thieves, lost AirPods tracked them at the location and went to ask if seen and nope but yet it still showing it’s there.
Can't complain, motel literally on the beach clean rooms, nice employees, reasonable prices
family trip was a SUCCESS
So here’s the story: I been coming here for over 2 1/2 years and I’ve always had a great experience. Until today. I brought my family over and they were playing board games until 1: 30 am. I heard some yelling in my balcony so I went and heard the receptionist curse at my brother and being racist: (she called f##$&ng Mexican. We’re not Mexican but even if we were that’s an unacceptable behavior. If they were loud I could understand a call and giving them a warning. But using such racist words specially when we had 2 kids there. I called in the morning and I spoke to Melissa the manager thinking she would resolve this matter for our future stay. Well she was rude also and banned me from Staying there anymore. She told me to shut up and to leave the premises even though I was very polite to her. May be she had a bad day or I don’t know, but of the manager acts that way, what can I expect from her employees.
We love this hotel! The photo was taken from our balcony. One of the Cleanest hotels that we have stayed in anywhere!
My family stays here on every visit to Pismo. We come at least 6 weekends a year and a whole week during summer. Rooms are kept very clean and the staff is very friendly. We love the instant beach acess and proximity to all the shops and pier. Would recommend this motel 100 percent.
Absolutely the BEST place to stay when in Pismo. We have been staying there for 24 years. Donna and the whole crew are awesome
Very nice, friendly place to stay right on Pismo Beach. 3 floors (no elevators), 2 buildings, plus plenty of parking next to the building. Right on the beach with a beautiful unblocked view of the bay from the north to the south. Only a couple of blocks from the boardwalk and the pier. Lots of surfers in the water, even though it's 45° F outside and the water is cold.
Affordable place next to beach and in downtown. Pet friendly. A lot of amenities in their studio and suite rooms.
I hesitate giving a review. Because it's hard enough to get reservations. My wife and I have stayed there many times. Great bed. Great View. And perfect for long walks on the beach. Enjoy!
Really good hotel. Clean rooms, and the location can't be beat - right on the beach. They are also incredibly supportive of their firefighting community, which is so nice to see.
We always stay at the Sea Gypsy
the only issue is the stairs, but that's about it
Nice, clean little hotel, tucked away right on the beach (well down 24 step's) within view of pier. With a town having a mass of hotels and prices to choose from I was happy with my choice. Stayed 3 night's. The kitchenette was a nice surprise touch. Would definitely be my " go to " hotel next visit. Now if they'd only offer a contental breakfast.
