Seascape Golf Club reviews
13I had the misfortune of playing at Seascape Golf Club and I have to say, it was a complete disappointment. The course is terribly miss managed and the marshals do not do a good job of keeping the pace of play. Our round of golf took an absurd 6.5 hours, which is unacceptable. The driving range is also a major letdown, as it only allows players to practice with irons and not drivers. It's clear that the management does not prioritize the experience of its customers. I would not recommend this course to anyone.
Great course. I wouldn’t say challenging, but what I do like is you need to use a variety of clubs rather than most courses where you tee off every single time with your driver. The dog legs were nice because I got to use my 3 wood and 7 wood more than I normally do. I think I used my driver maybe 4 times the entire day. Most tee offs were my 3 wood because past 220yards you could be in danger. I loved it. Price was great, course was prime (the greens looked almost fake on some holes) and it was good scenery. Occasionally you’ll get stuck behind some seniors that are running slow but it’s nice to take your time. Overall great course, can’t wait to play again
Excellent course. Your drives will bounce and go on forever. The staff are friendly and the eucalyptus trees are so nice to look at. Very impressed.
This place was a wonderful one- stop shop for our wedding and we could not have been more pleased. Taylor, the coordinator, is so chill and on it, she really calmed us down and made everything run smoothly. We went with the Seascape package that included the flowers and cake, which was a wonderful decision. It was a gorgeous outdoor place for the ceremony and we loved the space in the ballroom for the reception. All the staff was fantastic, efficient and polite. It was a good value for a wonderful product. We would totally consider having future events here again. I toured a lot of other venues and I'm so happy we went with this place!
Not as easy as it looks!
Condition of the grass is on average pretty OK. Fairways are patchy but firm.
Greens are in good condition, difficult slopes and pole positions.
Par 3's are eithet short or long.
Par 5's are on the short side, so are most par 4's. But the challenging greens and difficult traps make it important to get close to the green in regulation.
Beautiful day on the golf course. The course was in great shape. The greens are fast and require careful reading.
Nice championship course along the coast in Aptos. Well maintained with a friendly pro shop and affordable rates. Challenging but fair. Be prepared for a bit of fog to roll in at almost any time. Have a long sleeve cover in case it’s gets cold.
I haven't played this track since high school (15 years ago) and just replayed last week. And I must say this course has aged like fine wine. Tight fairways, good greens, and beautiful scenery are just a few staples to look forward to.
My friend and I played super twilight and was able to get around the whole 18 before dark for only 37 bucks. Talk about a steal. For that price, frankly I expect a course with some major flaws but you won't get that here. Don't skip this one.
. Nice environment and a very friendly staff! Reasonable rates too.plus they are in walking distance from home!
Nice place to play golf. Nice people and good food. Pace of play was steady. Good shape greens.
Decent course, but the rough is too short, the fairways too muddy, the greens too sparse. They need to put down some seed, or sod.
My favorite spot! If you get real good at this course, other courses become real simple.
Hardest greens in the south bay and Santa Cruz county.
Wife and I did an impromptu trip to Seascape resort. Saw on the resort website they had Stay & play package (Seascape Resort & Seascape GC are separate businesses I believe and it's not a golf resort it just happens to be that they have the same name but they are not located in walking distance of each other), but couldn't get a tee time cause we booked our stay so last minute (the stay and play package doesn't give you a discount on tee times, but it does give you a week earlier access to booking a tee time though), but we still stopped by the course to have brunch. We sat on the patio and watched people play. We chatted with staff while we were there and everyone was super friendly. I was talking to the person working the check-in desk and told him how I was hoping to play but couldn't get a tee time. He said he could squeeze me in, but unfortunately I didn't bring my clubs, he offered us rental clubs, and also I was wearing sandals, but it was very nice for him to offer. The course looked very nice and I wanted to come back and play some day. Eventually got a play a few months later. It's a great place to play and a nice hidden gem.my friends and I had a blast. The driving range is very nice and their short game area is even better which also includes a bunker for practice.
