As I approached the door (made of glass mine you) some guy who is an employee slammed the door open nearly knocking us over. No apology. Guy seemed like he enjoyed it. He clearly saw us…maybe he was having a bad day. We walked in at 4: 04 pm…place closes at 4: 00 pm. They refused to seat us. Now I’m not a business owner of any kind but what kind of business turns away money? Not even an invite to come back with a coupon…nothing. Poor.

I like the location and atmosphere next to the ocean. The food was marginal for the price. Staff was great.

Very friendly service accommodated the servings as I don't eat a big lunch.
Sitting with a beautiful view a plus.

The best fried calamari I've had since 2006. And that was at the Marriott resort in Rancho Mirage. (Palm Desert, CALIFORNIA)

The location is right on a dock with beautiful views. The food was great, and we had our food super fast.

Quaint old-timely Cafe on the waterfront serving good brunches with some local specials & ingredients. Perfect for a Sunday walk on the pier and clam chowder or crab louie.

If you like soggy fish and food that tastes like nothing eat here. Way over priced for the junk food they give you. We won’t ever be coming back here again

Nothing exciting here. Clam chowder was good though. Atmosphere was lacking and views were nothing special. Place wasn’t the cleanest either, customers were killing flies with menus. Good if you want a quick bite and aren’t expecting much.

It's a bit small, but you can get the food to go and sit outside or take a beautiful walk o. Trinidad State Beach. The fries are particularly amazing

We visited Trinidad today, and what a quaint and serene little resort town. We walked on the beach and then decided to have lunch at Seascape Restaurant and Pier. The place was quite busy, yet the food was so so. Truly, there is nothing to write home about. The waitress was very kind and professional, but the patty melt was less than desirable, and the chicken sandwich was very dry. The fries and potato salad were decent. The people at the next booth were swatting flies, and the gentleman complained about his fish and chips stating he had a hard time cutting his fish. Maybe we ordered items that were not popular at the restaurant, but needless to say, we won't be returning. The 3rd star is given specifically for the location.

Loved the food. A good variety. Atmosphere was wonderful! Nice local restaurant. We will go back next time in the area

Over priced and not very good service. The fish was fresh but it seemed beyond that, it's nothing more than an expensive restaurant that basically serves bar food. Very limited menu. If you want good food, go to Fort Bragg and go to Silvers. We went because of the reviews but the hype was fiction. Cool location and that's about it.

I don't know how this place has a 4.5 review.
The salmon omelet is awful. For over $30 you get bland eggs with a nasty orange cream cheese filling.that is it! No smoked salmon chunks just a mushy fruit salad texture, warm cream cheese filling. Gross!
$36 for a crab omelet with maybe 1/8 pound of crab.my son who loves food and is a great food critic actually commented that they need to recognize how under standard this place is
I'm not one to complain or make bad reviews but $110 for my family to eat a sub par breakfast is ridiculous as well.
We travel and use reviews to find good, or great places to eat and picked this one for the 4 star reviews.
Typically a server will ask if your meal is ok, nobody said a word when they noticed none of us finished our meal. I think it's because the wait staff knows what we ordered is not good food and didn't want to hear another complaint.

Hidden gem with beautiful bay view, including rocks, kelp beds, beach, Pier, and moorings. Well prepared breaded sole and oysters accompanied by crispy fries, potato salad, cocktail, and tartar sauce. Beer and wine.

Good not the best. Do not get the smoked oysters or the deviled eggs they looked like they were made a month ago and tasted like it too
